The Philippine flying lemur is endemi to the southern Philippines. Its population is concentrated in the Mindanao region and Bohol.

Colugos live in heavily forested areas, living mainly high up in the trees in lowland and mountainous forests or sometimes in coconut and rubber plantations, rarely coming down to the ground.

FROM THE LIMITED VIEW, I GUESS THAT IS A FLYING SQUIRREL. IT IS NOCTURNAL THOUGH. IT HAS A FLEXIBLE SKIN COVERD ARMS WITH HAIRS ON IT JUST LIKE A BAT, BUT BIGGER. IT GLIDES ABOUT FROM ONE TREE TO ANOTHER MOSTLY LIKE I SAY IN THE NIGHT. IT LANDS ON LOWER PARTS OF A TREE AND THEN IT START CLIMBING TO THE TOP. VERY COMMON IN SOUTH/EAST AND IT LOVE THE OIL PALM TREE MOST. Correct me if am wrong.

Am curious though cus I never knew we this in naija. Mostly found in Asia.
