I ask Honda freaks these simple question each time this argument comes up.
How many Honda products do you see on the road being used by Transport companies? How many Odyssey as opposed to Sienna, Camry as opposed to Camry or Honda Bus as opposed to Hiace or Coaster.

How many Honda products of the 80s and 90s do you still see on the road?

The answer is simple. They have poor reliability and durability ratio.
No transport company wants to lose all their earnings paying for maintenance of their fleet

You can still see the 90s, 80s and even 70s of Volvo, Mercedes, Peugeot and remarkably taskfully performing Toyota Corollas, Celicas, Cressida and Crowns of yesteryears.

Fact 1. Honda accord and Toyota Camry are mid class cars.

Fact 2. Honda builds better engines than Toyota does (looking from the points of engineering and durability, applications, power and efficiency)

Fact 3. Honda engineers cars with passion and to shhow forth engineering prowess, Toyota builds cars for profit making and to fulfil sales numbers.

Fact 4. Hondas have better driving dynamics and have a more sportier appeal than Toyota of same segment.

Fact 5. I've driven uncountable Hondas and uncountable Toyotas uncountable times and differences are clear in the way the cars responds.
