Healthcare, business, academics doesn't receive this special status, but something as unimportant and non essential as pilgrimage does? It is laughable that when serious issues needs to be attended to, it faces unlimited postponement, but issues that doesn't affect the common man is passed within the shortest time frame possible. Crazy politicians. You want to give dollars at 200 to people who are going to hajj for personal religious reason. They will.be paying the scarce dollars to the economy of mecca and will be spending money when they get there. You are going to hajj to pray to the same God you have been praying to in Nigeria. Are they saying prayers are only answered in hajj? The same useless got telling Nigerian artiste to spend money and shoot videos and movies in Nigeria to create jobs. Very few actual plgrims will get the money at that rate. Politicians and cronies take the USD and sell them off. even some of the pilgrims will take USD and just sell off. This is corruption ... the subset of corruption that does not include stealing. 1 Like |

this is misplaced priority what does God says about going for Haj never allow your neighborhood to suffer while you embark on Haj. you want them to enjoy it at lower rate and the people back home should be suffering to buy food at coat rate ... I think we need to fear Allah in what ever we are doing. remember people are dying almost everyday because they can't assess medical bills, they can't eat their desire meal some ppl are Diabetic because they don't have money to buy food required of them they continue drinking garri that finally send some of them to their early grave remember there is day of accountability may Allah spear us 1 Like |

Nigerians are crying daily because of companies are folding up due difficulty in getting dollars for business that will bring in taxes to make the country grow economically; yet her so called senators/leaders prefer to give free/ discounted dollars for religious reasons that haven't helped this country since 1960 even til date, rather caused more problem & disunity; increasing the level of corruption.. noooo... the country is finished... i think i have been deceiving myself ever since believing that the country go beta..  |
