I'm idoma and I know how much it costs to marry a "western Idoma" girl. If this is coming from ogbadibo then it's good news. throughout my life I've only dated two idoma girls - both from this region, the first was.... as usual, them like money die, stingy and wayo wayo in nature, but no no no, do not bring in stereotype matter come hia biko cos the second is an extremely wonderful person....but the bride price thing is the problem. Little wonder their men go to other Idoma land cos price is relatively cheap compared to theirs.

my cousin got married here in lagos last month nd the bride price that was taken was one thousand naira (1,000).
And that was because the cash her husband presented was in 1000 denominations.
Only one was taken nd the rest was returned back.
All the husband people were amazed nd shock cos i guess they hadn't witness dat b4.
Bottom line is, we only want u to take care of our daughter like u treat urs.
Accept nd welcome her into d family. That's the most important thing.
