Yerima Shettima,the leader of the coalition of northern youths has expressed the intent to influence northern lawmakers to include referendum in the constitution allowing ethnic groups to secede from the country.

According to him, the plan will take effect immediately after United Nation must have given them a response to a request the Arewa Youth made.

It will be recalled that the Arewa Youths had written to United Nation begging them to declare Nnamdi Kkanu the IPOB leaders as a terrorist and even support referendum for the exit of Biafra.

Yes even the north central comprises of my southern Kaduna, from river Kaduna and jos,Niger,nasarawa,kogi,taraba, southern Bauchi,we want to be on our own too. including all northern Christians from kebbi to borno.

we are not doing it to affect arewa but to affect our politicians so that they will sit up.

If IPOB truly wants this referendum, they should contest elections and become legislators that can work with other legislators to effect constitution amendments, not by organizing streets protests/rallies and preaching hatred against the Yoruba people and other non-Igbo Nigerians

This Arewa youth of a thing might just be a propaganda to speed up d division of Nigeria.
