Yesterday, there was a flood crisis in Akobi crescent Lagos, largely due to failure of residents to properly clean their environment from time to time.
After the rains, dirt washed up the streets making it impossible for the water to dry out.

Thankfully Governor Ambode came to the rescue sending sending teams from the Visionscape and Cleaner Lagos initiative to help clear out the debris.

We are our own problems, how can someone dispose his/her refuse in the gutter or canal and conveniently go to sleep.

I wish their area was flooded sha,cause they deserve it

Action man. The only issue I have with this is that it's just short term. We need to find a lasting solution to this flood issue

And the people living in that area should have been heavily fined

I heard Lagos state generates more tonnes of waste than New York.

If this waste can be properly disposed and recycled, this could lead to a big interest and sudden boom in the waste recycling business.

I don't know why some people have this bad mentality of disposing refuse on drainage system which is meant to curtail flood. The residence in most affected mainland area need to desist from this shameful act

shiit! these people are not wearing any gloves, boots or any kind of protective equipment. No way! I am going inside that bacteria filled gully without protections for all the nairas in nigeria

Yea, I've read about them in addition to LASG cleaner Lagos initiative but can they handle the whole of Lagos? Because I think they were the only company given.

I suggest about 5 companies to manage each division of the state.
