Are we ever going to reach 5000 megawatt generation at all in this country? . If OBJ did not squandered almost 16 billion USD on non-existing electricity, we should have reached nothing less than 20,000 megawatt by now. But he squandered it and shared it among his cronies. Nobody is talking, nobody is holding OBJ responsible for this monumental fraud he was part of....... |

But they recently gave fashola award for his revolutionary works in turning the power sector around? Even with the rainy season, AC's off, freezers off, militants on holiday, kainji dam at maximum capacity considering the floods yet we are struggling to generate a meagre 3000 MW?! WHAT A USELESS & CURSED JUNGLE OF A COUNTRY! |

Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company has kept HARMONY / LFI Estate in Bayeku, Ikorodu Lagos in absolute darkness for over 4 months now. The officials from Igbogbo business office took the transformer for repairs and it has not been returned. Several correspondence to the electricity company has not yielded any result. A letter to the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of IEDC, Mr. Anthony Youdeowei, was not responded to. Busineses are relocating from Bayeku and there is high level of insecurity due to over 4 months of absolute darkness. Nigerians should help us appeal to IKDC. |

I guess this doesn't explain why I've not had light for the past 4 days. A couple of damaged infrastructure around the neighborhood and it's taking IKEDC forever to come fix it, yet bills will be served at the end of the month. |

patience... I hope Fashola has seen that power generation in Nigeria is akin to rocket science... & I hope his online goons would stop yapping at nonsense & stop putting pressure on Fash by their silly 'hailings' which are often unnecessary. GEJ (like it or not) did the right thing by privatizing the power sector. all Fashola has to do is make adjustments & improvements as necessary without he or his social media idi*ots blowing things out of proportion. it will be tough, rough & tasking... but we will get there. |

I don't know if anyone remembers a time these people claimed it was the activities of the Niger Delta militants that was disrupting power supply.... I am trying to help them point to an excuse this time. No improvement, but another tariff hike is around the corner...... seriously, is this admin worth defending in terms of power supply? |
