A million lives were lost, property and wealth forfeited, several families scattered and scared for a long time and Easterners were no better in 1990 than they were in 1967. Fighting for the sake of fighting alone is madness.

Many Nigerians are thriving all over the country thus I can't understand this slavery you allude to. It is true that Biafra and Ojukwu did not have enough arms and ammunition in comparison to Nigeria, however, that was not enough reason to become a slave of the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy like all others did. It was a swim or sink situation and Biafrans were not prepared to sink without a fight, even if it meant fighting with catapult.

Can we compare these 5 in terms of wealth and influence to a random selection of 5 wealthy and powerful southerners? Do we have concrete and objective figures to work with or mare conjectures?

Is "southern Nigeria" begging the "north" for restructuring...and has the "north" slammed the door? Don't we have southerners who insist that Nigeria does not need restructuring? Or are there no northerners who support the call for restructure? Who is this "north" that is being begged? Can we have the names of at least 3 of these "north" who has refused to be begged? As for your last paragraph, I sincerely hope that you are aware that much of the roughly 60million people who died in WW2 were victims of the Nazis and the Japanese army's war to dominate the world. Much freedom and prosperity has been achieved since then by peace and common sensical cooperation of nations rather than by a murderous charge to battle.
