I thought the FG was confident and was of the opinion that the Igbos do not want to secede Why not conduct a referendum to clear the doubt undecided

If the people truly wishes to depart of this country filled with greedy/selfish leaders, eat and die alone rulers, why not let them be

From my point of view, those still interested in Nigeria are the greedy ones who has no interest in serving the people but milking them undecided

Friendship/ unionism is not by force!
Gaskia

Inbetween, where is Buhari or should I say "who is the presidency "

and the IGBOS have been given till Oct 1 to leave North and go back to their region, is it by force to live in another man land?

This is what we are saying, this country is not matured enough for this Democracy thing or may be the policy makers don't have the mind set of what real democracy is.

Election boycott is a great threat to democracy especially when people involved have agitations like this.
INEC is absolutely clueless about their role and stands when there is a threat like this. cry

LOL election bycot of not as far as someone come out to vote, Even if it's only 10 votes winner will be emerge.

because it's not gonna get them what day want.
it's a stupid idea that won't won't in Nigeria
I ve always said ipob shud form a political party with the single idea of secession. with its Eastern popularity they will sweep tru the ballot with their votes. every councillor, local govt chairman, state house of assembly representatives, , house of reps and senator will be from their party, even governor from their party.
then they can move motions and speak with one voice.
but election boycott is another waste of time.

Dont make the mistake of thinking that the international community all reason like Nigerians. They dont. While the sovereignty of all countries is respected, the right of the people to self determination is also respected.

A 70% boycott of elections is a clear indication that the people have no faith in the system. Nobody is saying that election boycott is enough to get referendum, but it will go a long way. When IPOB then adds other legal means at its disposal such peaceful demonstration, mass mobilisation and sensitisation, civil disobedience, protestations etc. A time will come when all Nigerians including the political leaders will agree that it is time to let these people go. We all saw how just the sit-at-home protest made the Northern youths support referendum, much more is yet to come.

You think anyone is waiting for the international community? No.

If it takes 20 years of protest for Nigeria to finally see that it is foolish to hold people against their will then so be it, we will all be feeling the heat together.

But eventually, a referendum will be granted so we can leave this disasterous British colonial contraption called Nigeria

Over a decade ago Ralph Uwazuruike started the samething MASSOB and where are they today?..

What trouble?
Some millions of your people will still die again and that is the bitter truth and it will mostly be women and children and that is what some of us are afraid of because i know that people like you will not go to the front to die.

Are you so dumb that you are comparing UNITED KINGDOM with some many independent nations with a single a nation call Nigeria?
Scotland as a nation was just inside a union call UNITED KINGDOM.

The last time i checked,Biafra is not a nation inside Nigeria.

Your people are not even ready to go.
1 of October ultimatum was given to your people in the north and they were running up and down from one tradition ruler palace to another begging and denouncing biafra.

Do you think that the voices and actions of those jobless ipob youths that are following kanu up and down on the streets of south-east matters to anybody?

When Ekweramadu,Nigige,Onu etc resign from their positions and support biafra, when your south-east brothers in the army, navy, airforce, police, immigration, custom, federal civil service, etc pull out their services from Nigeria that is when we and the world will know that you guys are serious.

I know right now that you still use the naira, use Nigeria to fill any form and use Nigeria passport but you are still here shouting biafra.

You guys are not serious.
Let's hear the first shot from you guys or you guys should just shut up and allow people to hear word.

Online warriors.
resign, resign, resign how did these people get to those position election now we said no election. so that the won't go there and you are complaining of biafrans not being serious who's not serious now

Who cares what happens as long the boycott is succesful?

In very short order you will care when the
FG you deride becomes constitutionally empowered to appoint a sole administrator to govern the State and The National Assembly takes over the functions of the State House of Assembly to make law for the State. While I support the right of a people group to self-determination it is in bad taste to do so through hate speech and uncoordinated and poorly strategised moves.

Are you from south-east?
Obasanjo was so keen to create another state for south-east to make it equal with other zones that have 6 states each but got frustrated be your people couldn't come on a single front.

All your leaders wanted his or her village as the new state capital and different names of the state were flying up and down and that was why that idea was stopped because your leaders refused to agree on a common front.

They are not fighting each other now because they have been brainwashed for now that the hausa or north is their enemy.

If the north and hausa are now out of the way and positions are to be filled, that is when you here that Ebonyi and not real Igbos and this and that.

This was how we and the world thought that if south-sudan go their way that they will be a model in Africa because of their small population and crude oil.
How far today?

The international community know that we Africa very well by now.
When Abacha wanted to create 6 state out of the federation, how many votes did he solicit for the people, so if Obasanjo wanted to create another state out of S. East he would have just finished the job straight.
Forget about Ebonyi not being original Igbo or Taiwan Igbo, all those baseless argument were being peddle by nonchalant miscreants who are not up to 0000.5%
South Sudan is very poor compare to South East Nigeria, even here in Ebonyi state how many thatched house will u see not to talk about other Igbo state.
I'm from Ezza in Ebonyi state of Nigeria.

Don't compare military rule that decree is used to civilian democracy that the rules must be followed.
Abacha used decree to create states and Obasanjo can not do that.

The difference will not show now because most of you are made to believe that you are fighting a common enemy that is the north but when the north are out of the picture that is when they will tell you that as Ebonyi man that you are a minority or out cast.

South-sudan is not poor if not for the war.
As small as the are,the crude oil deposit that they have is enough to make all of it's citizen to live like Qatar citizens.
