Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, on Wednesday, hosted all farmers in the State at the Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka as part of the activities marking the official flag-off of the 2017 Farming Season.

The farmers who extol Governor Obiano's giant strides in Agriculture over the past years were privileged to display their farm produce at the venue.

Speaking at the event, Governor Obiano stated the secret behind the growth of Anambra's Agricultural sector, the way forward and the challenges the State has been facing.

It must be recalled that Anambra began recording its major development in the Agricultural sector since it started exporting Vegetables, Yam and other food items to Europe and other parts of the World.
