I don't blame you for writing this simply because you don't have the knowledge of Medicine and pharmaceutical products. If you have you won't be talking like this.
For your Information, most pharmaceutical products(this drug in particular) have expired even before the last 6 months and last 12 months of the expiry date they put on the label. Any health practitioners in the house will confirm what I m saying. The closer to the manufacturing date you use any pharmaceutical products, the better and the safer. Forget about what they put on the label.
Now, for this particular product, 2016 is gone. 2017 almost gone. Only 2018 is left to use it. If I m still using it in 2019, I may be endangering the health of any patients I used it for or it's not effective(because of the behavior of this drug) you too can read about it on the label. Also, this is the drug you just need few drops of it for the procedure you want to use it for. So, it is not what you will use up within few months. You can be using it for years... as long as expiry date permit because you just need few drops of it per procedure.
Now, imagine mismanaging the purchase and delivery for more than 2 months of this type of drug before it's available for use with no idea of when it would finally be available and you expect that the end user will be happy with you?

So stop saying or arguing on something you know little or nothing about.
By the way, what has title gotten to do with the issue on ground? I can see you are desperately looking for sympathy. But that doesn't not change the fact that you mismanaged the (item) product.

What kind of disgrace are you to your kind? Walahi if I were you @bizbloke I would start a smear campaign online and make sure the people in his state get to see what their dentist is up to.

Now let me come to the point of where I know that this so called dentist or maybe dentist assistant is talking crap about formocresol, I remember a case where the commissioned medical officer ran out of formaldehyde or something like that to preserve the bodies of lost soldiers at the war front and all that was provided to him was formocresol from one of those aid agencies I can't recall now. He raised an observation of the expiry not being clear and I clearly remember the lady saying that it was a natural occurring preservative that ordinarily doesn't expire but she was certain he could still use it. So don't come here and try to make us look like fools, stand in that field alone!

Then again @bizbloke, I believe I always see you include the information that "packages would take certain number of weeks to get to you first based on their origin of shipment", it takes experience for people to know that you can wait for almost 6 weeks for a package to arrive to you from China, go on aliexpress and read the reviews of folks buying and see that it's usual to wait for 2months for a package! I have never shipped anything through you, but you've made a couple of payments for services on my behalf and I will give you kudos for going above and beyond for your clients and if you have a 95% performance, that is worthy of praise for a Nigerian and I would encourage you to continue in your good works and not get discouraged.

Bizbloke keep being robotic in your interaction please. That's the only way you would succeed with such people, that's how the western culture stick to their rules that they've developed over years of experience and it has helped them grow sustainable brands over centuries and on the converse because of compromise here and there in Nigeria, there is nothing that stands the test of time. Thousands of people visit Nairaland on daily bases, do not think you're not known unless you change your username, doing business with others here may not be so smooth as they themselves also read one another's thread.

Even when you have strong point, it should be laid professionally and in more civilized manner. If you aren't satisfied and there is no good explanation and assurances, quit instead of fighting dirty!
