My IPhone 5s was all good and fine till my charger got spoilt by power surge.. I got a fake charger so I cud charge for sometime cos I was in a rush.. Used it for about some days till my phone didnt switch on one day.. I went the repairer and he changed my battery saying that one was spoilt.. Since then I have been having issues with charging tho I got an original charger immediately.. When I plug any charger i would get an error display - "this phone may not support the accessory".. I'd really be grateful if I can get help from phone gurus on nairaland..

I wish u never took it to a repairer in the first place. But anyway, make sure the USB cable is working. ( cos those things spoil easily) plug your phone to the charger and hold the power button and home button together until the apple logo shows. Your phone should recognize the charger now

Op I don't think the charger is original. Try it with another charger. Please always use original charger, the fake charger might eventually spoil the panel

Av used many chargers.. even gone to major outlets to test their chargers
