This is how it went down

In April I treated Infection Doc said it was mild but I just say make I sha treat am and took abendazole for worm.

In May My neighbor took me to an ijoh woman who gave me herbs to cleans my body and to boast ovulation (Not like I was not ovulating but I just wanted any thing safe to get me my BFP) she also inserted sum peppery stuff. oh dear!!!!!!!! me wey no like pain and discomfort. hmmmm She said my tubes were blocked so I asked how she take know she said she is touching it na ( apparently what she meant was cervix is closed but we know this is normal na the cervix open at ovulation and closes there after) That was how I packed all her medicine and threw away I don pay already oooo but I didnt mind Biko. Yes her drugs must have worked for others as I saw lot of people there but the fact was I just didnt want to complicate my matter (I no even get matter before na just say I no see belle)

Dh No even bother with me and my waka Na so I just kuku start to take only Folic acid, B complex and Vit E which my Dh was taking but left me the pack and bought another one when he was returning to work.

No we don enter June AF came June 22nd I remember writing a mini journal here as I announce the arrival. I said AF has shown again this is my plan for this circle
1 HSG (My sister emphasized on this)
2 Follicle tracking
3 Ever green prenatal care ( I ended up not buying d money plenty and I got sooooo broke)

So on Cd5 I went in for the HSG all clear the left tube took time to have the flow of liquid but it did eventually after like the 4th try. By Cd 8 I started my follicle tracking first day predominant follicle was 15.7 I was asked to return Cd 11. On tracking it was 20.5. I was asked to return Cd 13. Now I had to start praying Dh arrived from his offshore duty.Weather was bad and No chopper to pick them out..Naso I start to ask God wetin exactly be my sin now wey every thing don dey set.( I cant begin to imagin the huge hiss God would have given me on my Ignorance). Cd 12 as I returnd from work guess who just drove through the gate DH I remained in d car and just started to cry. Naso we meet that evening sha.Before I left the house the next day Cd13 I knew i had Ovulated cause i felt the Ovulation pain when I woke up that morning. On arrival at the test center I was told The follicle had ruptured and was advised to meet with DH dat day again as the egg will last only 24 hrs and it will take the sperm more than 8 hours to swim to the egg. ( Remember I posted here that DH no be kpekus person we fit do 2 or 3 times in a month) So u can Imagine d feeling of knowing we were doing it at the right time.

Na so ooooo I take UPT 2 weeks after it was Negative Chai CHIMOOOOOOO what did I do wrong? I asked my God......

I felt abdominal pain intermittently as Na negative na Dh begin say we go check edomitis (forgive my spelling) . I joined my colleague for their Saturday morning exercise maybe AF go kuku show without giving me all dis drama Yet It didnt come..........................................................................abdominal Pain stopped No heavy breast nothing I was normal again yet no AF. confusion set in panic set in.I took another UPT and it came faint infact I concluded na my eye wan see Positive because i took plenty picture it didnt reflect on the PHone.

Thank GOd for my colleague who kept me sane.


I decided to run the blood test today 1st August and it read POSITIVE.Since the Home urine test came Negative or faint line i just didnt want to give my self high hope so I waited more than one week. (AF suppose show since 20th July) Only God knows how I have manage not to go to d hospital all this days.hmmmmmm. I dont know how I have stayed put.

In the End I say TO GOD ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY. We will try what we can as mere mortals In the end Na God get all the Answer. It will Happen In his time.

My dear people of God, officially I announce my BFP!! Jehovah has done. Been TTC since beginning of this year, I know some people might think that isn't so long but we all have our battles, na only me know where e dey pepper me, so it is a WIN WIN for me.

First thing I did was to join this forum, I learned a whole lot. My period has always been VERY regular but since I began TTC, I get this one week to AF spotting, every single month. I knew it was not normal. I brought the matter here, one mama told me Vit B6. I read it up and learned it was due to low progesterone and B6 could solve it. I ignored and continued like that.

I later tried the B6 but took all thru my cycle, when I didn't get BFP, o threw all the drugs away. I joined Hallelujah challenge. I got Gynae, I and hubby got treated for infection. I brought my spotting issue again here, someone else mentioned progesterone, I told my doctor from the beginning cos I felt that was an issue, he swept it off and gave me clomid last cycle. Didn't work last cycle. He said HSG, I told him my tubes are fine cosbi believe so.

This cycle, I just bought the b6, started taking 100mg after I suspected ovulation was over. On Saturday night, I decided to do a test, got a very faint line. today blood test and big positive.

God that blessed me will surely visit everyone. Despite my plenty sins, he found be worthy. I am happy.

My first pregnancy symptom was painful breast. I thought maybe AF but usually my nipppless would hurt, I even said I would go check it out at the hospital. Also plenty discharge, even thought it was an infection but no itching

Mama's pls I need your input, I met with a new gynaecologist today and he requested for a new hormonal profiling and Hsg from Clinix Healthcare, pls who has gone there for Hsg, do they give painkillers before,pls help on information on the lab. my pain threshold is very low due to thinking, thanks in advance.

I did my HSG there two weeks ago. First you need to book early so they can attend to you but they waste time sha. i took ibr**fen about 80mg for the pain like 30 mins before the procedure so it really helped. It'll be uncomfortable when they put the catherer in but just breath in and out like you're about to have a baby. This also helped me. They're very professional so you'll be fine.

As I sit here to type this, I have tears in my eyes..I cry for joy for you and the mere thought of the happiness you will be feeling.. Indeed we can only try our best but God has all the solutions..Your story gives me hope. Congratulations!!!

Goodevening mama, just a little info I think might be helpful to someone battling with high prolactin. Dostinex does wonder with the help of God off course. My prolactin level was 41 and just 6 weeks on dostinex, it went down to 10.5.My doctor asked me to reduce to half tablet a week now till bfp.

I concur with u sis, mine dropped drastically as well...I am presently on half tablet too, make all the prolactin no finish for my body.

Good evening ma, please where did u buy the Dostinex though am on BROMOCRIPTINE presently it was prescribed to me for 30 days by a gynecologist at a teaching hospital, the side effects is horrible it's almost finished. My prolactin level was 79 but am curious about the Dostinex is it readily available to buy in any pharmacy? thanks

Please I need more clarification about this
Cd3 to Cd7 or Cd5 to Cd9. Which is d best when using letrozole.
And also I did follicle tracking last cycle cd10 11mm and went back there cd12 follicle has grown to 15mm I didn't go back for the 3rd tracking because of work
Pls mamas in the house is there need to do another round of follicle tracking or I should just get OPk and test to know when exactly am ovulating. We are weekend couples so tracking ovulation is d best we can do for now cuz of Work.
And I need mamas that has passed thru my shoes to share their experiences ,tho dh isn't complaining but I feel maybe I should leave my job and join him in the state he's working so we can focus more on baby making, its a two hours journey distance and its bin stressful lately. Most of my fertile period falls on week days and baby dancing is always affected.
Just between two juncture to leave or not.

Leaving your job is a very hard decision to take in this recession era. I feel you can try iui. A friend whose hubby was not close did this. They collected the Hubby's sperm and used it on her on the appropriate days and time. She said the iui itself cost abt 70k, but that the hospital did all the labs from TVs, svs , laparoscopy b4 doing the iui. It cost her around 300k .

Other sabi mamas in the house should chook mouth.
