Yoruba Youth groups have warned the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to stay clear of Lagos.
The groups made up of Yoruba Youth and the Coalition of Southwest Youths warned that Kanu’s safety could not be guaranteed if he proceeded with his planned visit.


IPOB had earlier announced Lagos as the next state to be visited by Kanu who is currently on a tour of various states in the country.


Chairman of the Coalition of Southwest youths group, Prince Dapo Adepoju in a chat with journalists in Akure on Wednesday said, “In as much as we are not saying Kanu cannot come to Lagos, we urge him to limit his unreasonable violent procession to the southeast.


“For the sake of whatever Kanu believes in and for the sake of millions of Igbos who have been living and doing business in Lagos even before his birth, we want him to stay clear of Lagos.


“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and other eminent Yoruba leaders have made so much effort to ensure Lagos and indeed southwest states remain the most peaceful part of Nigeria; this cannot be truncated by one boy called Kanu.”


Adepoju also reiterated calls for Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to order Kanu’s arrest.


He added, “Every Nigerian knows that Kanu has flouted his bail conditions. We are sure that Kanu’s safety is not guaranteed if he dares to disrupt the peace of innocent Lagos residents just like he’s doing in the southeast.

Restricting, arresting or even trying to attack him would amount to drawing attention (which he badly craves) to Nnamdi Kalu.

A yoruba group has spoken but not without a caveat; "IF he dares to disrupt the safety of lagos residents"... Implying that he may come but must be orderly & in right frame of mind.

The question is Why are Yorubas Magnanimous to a fault? Why can't we just lay the marker, shut up lousy mouths once & for all?

Kaduna youths threw down the gauntlet which he cowered at in response knowingful well that will be his last breathe. That kinda air of finality is needed in SW inorder to sound a bolder statement.

Point of correction, kanu has not cancelled his kaduna trip.
Awo (toad) were chest beating before ojukwu and others that if ojukwu seceeds with igbos that he awo (toad) will also do the same with yorubas but, along the line he deviated only to backstab ojukwu at the end.
When you yorubas heard that radio biafra will be airing in lagos, you people were threatening hell and brimstone but at the end of the day what happened??
