A notorious car thief who specializes in robbing vehicles of unsuspecting victims was nabbed yesterday at Omegatron Phone shop on Airport Road , Benin City, Edo state. According to an online report, the major car thief kingpin was apprehended by passersby after breaking a man's car glass while trying to steal it. His cohort ran away -leaving the 'unlucky' thief to his fate..

He was beaten by his captors before he was handed over to security men.

I wonder who dey give this people mind oh. breaking car glass in broad daylight .thats how one tried picking my pocket at oshodi 3 days ago while I was heading to agege. God save me,he almost took the phone out I just turned and looked at him. he was very huge(if not I for slap am) he waved(as if to say sorry) and walked away quickly . then one trader there came and said "my pikin hope say him no carry ur fone" and i was like "ma so u see am and u no tell me" and she said "if I talk dem go trouble me for here wey I dey sell"
