The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has arrested one Ma Yongbin, 46, a Chinese national, at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport. Yongbin was arrested while trying to board Egypt Air to China where he was found to have in his possession undisclosed sum of N305,000 (Three Hundred and Five Thousand Naira Only) all in N5 denomination.

According to the anti-graft agency, Investigation is still ongoing.

Budhist use it in a religious ceremony where they burn money (usually fake currencies) in remembrance of their dead ones.

The fake ,or in this case worthless money burnt is said to come back to the person carrying out the ceremony in 100 folds.

More likely they are going to print fake notes maybe the currency of another country. They have a way of cleaning the notes and then printing over it so there could be high value notes in another country using same sized paper

This is as stupid as it sounds! Why was he arrested? Is it because of:

1) he choosed to have his money in the least domination

or

2) he looks to poor to have such money.

They should keep arresting someone who worths 300k and leave those who loot billions. Am tired of Naija

If there had been communication between your eyes and brain while reading the post, you would have seen that he was arrested for not disclosing the said amount.
