The Senate has NO authority to order the arrest of anybody. There's an issue of separation of powers here, folks.
If someone ignores a national assembly subpoena, the Senate could exercise one of two options:
a) It could vote on a contempt referral to be passed on to the Ministry of Justice for enforcement.
b) it could bring the matter before a court of law, which can then charge the noncompliant witness with contempt of court.

Anything else is an abuse of power and a violation of separation of powers.

Considering the menace his truck drivers constitute on the highways and their contribution to all the dilapidated high ways in the country.

Nigeria is a joke! After failing to appear before the senate committee, they planned to extend their invitation till next week. Our senate, in fact, the Nigeria National Assembly is a joke. Our assembly guys are bunch of toothless dogs! They can't bite.
