Same Nigerians who call Police 'incompetent','inept','corrupt','lacking in integrity and honour' e.tc...now believe same Police with their latest tales-by-moonlight reasons for the massacre ..People can choose to be daft or myopic on this matter for whatever reasons,be it ethnic, religious and political, its their call...but i have chosen to use my brains and think analyticaly. As far as i am concerned, the reasons given by Police are riddled with loop-holes and the speed of their 'investigation' and conclusion is highly suspicious..The truth shall be unveiled soon. 10 Likes |

The is purely a terrorist attarck and have nothing to do with misunderstanding amongst hustlers in SA. Ndigbo shouldn't take this lightly. 7 Likes |

Drogbs:The sequence is gradually taking shape and the fault rests squarely on the head of the nation. 1) Arewa youth declaration that ibos must leave by oct 1st 2) The vice president comment that hate messages was a breedgng ground for genocide 3) lastly the audio hate tape from the north against the ibos My assumptions Some set of ppl are determined yo cause chaos in the nation and make the nation boil. And they have idnetified the easiest group to target and to use. Their agenda and objective is political, most likely buhari isnt coming back. If the nation boils and there is commotion ,it is a perfect recipe for the military to take over. By dressing in military fatigues and coming in military vehicles to carry out the strike is enough provocation alone. This may lead to a serious clamp down on the nation social media and ppl like kanu willl be watched and if he makes any inciting comment or statements he may be re arrested. The bottom line is THE NATION IS PRESENTLY SITTING ON A LORRYLOAD OF TIME BOMB. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Whatever narratives you guys are trying to spin will never hold water. I read the story as posted by the op. Unfortunately he lumped "there won't be election in Biafra Land at the end ". He went ahead to claim that a jihad have been launched on Igbos, unfortunately he has no evidence the gunmen were Jihardist. People forget how Jihardist call on their Allah before unleashing their terror. People forget that Jihardist always leave a trace, people forget that Jihardist always issue statement. Those responsible will eventually claim it. While you are still spinning your narratives. If you don't believe the drug feud, then IPOB is also a suspect. Why did the author of the story linked Biafra, Anambra election to this madness. |

My dear, that storey is heart wrenching. It sounds super dumb and sketchy to me. And, the fact that the state governor (coupled with the police) is pushing that narrative without proper investigations nor arrests is so pathetic. It's a huge shame on Obiano! They probably think they want to manage/prevent crisis, but they have no idea what they are dealing with. So many loopholes in their crappy story. The face of the funny governor was even on the sign board of the guy's birthday event. The alleged target was not attacked during, before or after his birthday. The event was not disrupted. Instead, it were dozens of innocent worshippers in early morning service on Sunday morning who got hit - and many were killed in cold blood. Yet, the idiotic governor and security agencies want us to believe a lie. Traditionally, in the eastern Catholic churches, the special thanksgiving masses are usually held by 9 am, how much more when it's for a prominent man who singlehandedly built the church where the thanksgiving was to be held. How could such an event hold at 6am? Fact is, I am just so sorry for the pathetic "one Nigerian" igbos. For example, I just visited the Sahara Reporters page containing the English transcript of the recently released anti-igbo song. I scrolled to the comment section to see how people were responding. And, my gosh, I was totally blown away!! You simply cannot believe the level of raw unclad hatred and disdain which folks are openly displaying against the igbos. Some are gleefully clamoring for genocide. It's such a rotten world my dear! Folks now openly clamour for murder of fellow humans. And when it does happen they publicly celebrate it gleefully. It's a shame! But I know that the Good will surely triumph over the evil. And the Light will always annihilate the darkness. pazienza: 2 Likes |

I consider them sheep. Same for those who castigate IPoB for seeking referendum for the non-Igbo minorities, these set of people are sheep also, they can't think. Can you imagine somebody who says he's a Biafran insulting IPoB and Nnamdi Kanu because a few misguided minorities are insulting Igbo online. Isn't that daft? OkoNDOoBo: You need brain transplant. Comprehension is not your strong point, obviously. 1. They couldn't see them when they were outside, because it was cloudy, but the inside was well illuminated with light, so once they were inside, they were very visible, and any with eyes could see their uniform. 2.She was at the back, they approached from the front, common sense could have told you that it would be easy for some at the back to sneak out amidst the chaos and jumping a fence is the least thing a young human on adrenaline rush can do. It's not like the wall is the wall of Jericho. Once again common sense failed you. 3. No, being at the back, it was easy for her to see what was happening to people in the front before she left. So yes, she did the right thing by making phone calls to alert the masses. 4. No while in the church, she should have heard the criminals communicate amongst themselves, and the language of use. Even without speaking non Igbo language, any Igbo should be able to pick up a non Igbo ascent when they hear one. 5. This is you clutching at straws, no need replying you on this. Ndo. All in all, you only ended up showing that the money your parents spent in your schooling was a waste. Your English comprehension class teacher owe your parents a refund. 5 Likes 1 Share |

...no matter how they try to cover the truth, suppressed it, distort it and misinformed the people, I for one won't accept it. The truth is that going by the mode of operations of this cowardly and heinous act, our homeland has been invaded by aliens which are not of igbo descent. I am suspecting Fulani nomads for this dastardly act until proven otherwise. Igbos value the sanctity of life so greatly that it's nearly impossible for communal clash or deal gone wrong in far away South Africa to be visited on the innocent worshippers in no other place than our revered Catholic Church. Those propagating and believing these lies are bereft of intellectual reasoning. This is the time for communal vigilante group to spur into actions and fetch out these blood thirsty lots from wherever holes they are hiding from. It's no longer news that igboland has been invaded and no one knows the next victim. 2 Likes |

pazienza:you re the one to refund ur parents hard earned money for being plain dumb. 1).the eyewitness said he jumped fence as they rushed down to the front door meaning they didn't enter the auditorium before he dashed out of the church premises ""The sky was cloudy and everywhere seemed dark; no one saw what they were carrying, whether it was gun, but surely they were fully equipped. “They immediately rushed to the front door. I was too lucky to jump the fence."" now tell me how he was able to record incidents that happened in the auditorium when he was over the fence before they step inside the church 2).he said before he jumped the fence he heard gunshot meaning he was not in the auditorium probably about to jump fence when he he heard sound of gun shot." "before I had jumped, I heard gun shot everywhere in the building."" he claimed he heard their language how did he when he was over the high wall of the church and landed inside the bush surrounding the fence of the church. 3).he claimed they block the front gate did he also saw this from the back of the fence where he landed "They obstructed the front gate, because for women that is their only route to escape" 4. now tell me if this is consistent with the beginning of the story ""Like I said before and I will say it again, I was at the back"" door, I saw all that happened, they were with Army uniform, face covered, standing at the Front door, holding their trigger, and shooting at anything that moves. this is the most ridiculous lies ever . somebody that claimed he jumped fence when they were rushing down to the front door of the church in the beginning of story now said at the tail end of the story he saw them standing at the front door shooting anything that moves you re a waste of resources to your parents 1 Like |

OkoNDOoBo: This is what happens when you feed a person with too much of oily foods from childhood to adulthood, too much cholesterol clogges up the person's brain cells. 1. Now let's take a step by step breakdown and analysis of the eye witness account. "They immediately rushed to the front door. I was too lucky to jump the fence, but before I had jumped, I heard gun shot everywhere in the building. They obstructed the front gate, because for women that is their only route to escape. That was why women were killed more than men. Children were killed as well, many were seriously injured" The first statement, ie "They immediately rushed to the front door " is not immediately followed by the jumping of the fence, though in the narration, it was reported next, it's obvious that there was a considerable time interval between the two. This would later be explained by this part : ,"Like I said before and I will say it again, I was at the back door, I saw all that happened, they were with Army uniform, face covered, standing at the Front door, holding their trigger, and shooting at anything that moves". This part above gave more details on what transpired between the appearance of the men in front of the church door, and the escape of the eye witness through the back door and then the fence jumping. At no point in the narration did the eye witness suggest that he was over the fence before the shooting inside started. 2. Wrong! Read again : "Like I said before and I will say it again, I was at the back door, I saw all that happened, they were with Army uniform, face covered, standing at the Front door, holding their trigger, and shooting at anything that moves". The witness already saw part of the shooting while staying at the back, before he/she jumped the fence and was still hearing shooting inside the church. 2. Again, your lack of comprehension and understanding of time interval of the narrative made you arrive at an erroneous conclusion that he was up on the fence immediately the gun men where in front of the door, when that isn't the case, as we saw in the second part of the narrative. 3. Wrong again. He saw that the gate was blocked from the back of the church. This knowledge was what informed his decision to jump the fence rather than attempt to pass through the gate. Once again, your comprehension teacher failed you. 4. It is very consistent with the first part of the story, infact, it threw more light on the first part of the story, and offered insight on what transpired between the time of the appearance of the men on the front of the church, and the jumping of the fence by the eye witness. Also, a second eye witness account corroborated the first eyewitness account. See below. , "All I could remember is that I was sitting at the front when some army men invaded the Church and started shooting at everyone. They just held the trigger and fired at everyone they sighted. I managed to hide under the seat but was shot in the leg. "A boy was shot in head, his brain bursted, and blood spilled everywhere - even at my face." Now, tell me you are not ashamed of your Afonja self? 6 Likes |

gunuvi:From what l read, nowhere did police say it was a conclusion, they said investigations are still on but from what they know so far it is connected to the well known fight in SA. Minutes after the incident, even your Igbo brothers in SA already leaked the information because many have been killed over the years in SA for the same issue. Some Igbo's from the community all over social Media shared same info, even SA's themselves. 1 Like |

I never knew this Pazienza guy was such a cry baby, I would have bought him a rubber nipp.le to suckle. All through yesterday, you have been wailing and gnashing your teeth and insinuating all manner of conspiracies that point away from your criminal brothers. Was it the Nigerian Police that first alluded to a drug war? Or when did it become a crime to finger suspects early in a case, and why are you bitter that these suspects are not those you desire it to be. What love has a drug lord got for religion, if he can kill a fellow man, what the hell is a church building and religion to such a fellow? Were you expecting a hitman to wear a hitman uniform? Is there such a uniform, or is such a murderer not supposed to come in an acceptable disguise? Since you have refused to reason rationally, I also hereby declare that the hunchback Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are responsible for this massacre. IPOB came in army uniforms that many terrorist militias are known to easily source. Those uniforms are readily available in Aba. Murder must be included to the treason charges he is already being tried for. 1 Like |
