The recent event in a catholic church located in ozubulu that resulted in the gruesome murder of over 10 worshippers has left many asking who is responsible for the dastardly act.

While the news in the media point fingers to battle between two drug barons in South Africa, others maintained that the truth is not yet out.

In deed, never in history has any Igbo man killed a fellow Igbo man in a place of worship. At least non that I know of.

Igbos hold the church in high esteem and believe that, it is a taboo for a mortal to kill a fellow mortal in a place of worship.

Truth will one day be laid bare.

Since the days of my ancestors, I have never heard that Igbos took their grievance on innocent church worshippers.

it is incredible. An Igbo man I know cannot kill in that manner. It's not in our blood! Since the world began, I have never heard that an Igbo man unleashed attack(s) in a Church, to killing innocent people(in the stead of their targeted).

An Igbo man would have thought
tracing his 'target' home, not committing such a heinous crime in the Church. That is a typical "Igbo man mentality".

I stand to be questioned: That attack was unleashed by those whose fore aim is to islamize this country, not an Igbo attack.

Its a shame many unreasonable people abound in this nation. Why would two brothers, drug lords or whatever... Chose to attack themselves in a church in their same community, dont you think they might have relations, friends, inlaws, well wishers that are attending that church that might be hit in the attack.

This is true. Those guys are not igbo. If igbo want to kill, they don't storm on sacred places like churches or shrine or any place that is sacred and start shooting people. They are not like the other boko tribes that did not have respect for secrad places.

Last time something like this happened (by this I mean uncharacteristic behaviour) in the East, the guy responsible was an Igbo(?)who lived most of his life in Ivory Coast. He probably adopted thire ways. I read he kept coming to Nigeria to rob and murder people then would run back to Ivory Cost. Anyway, this is why I keep on about border control. Nigeria needs to tighten up on border control of which immigration and emigration at the airport and seas are a part.

In relation to this case, there is an interesting article about it, retweeted by Beegeagle.The short of it is that some Igbo Drug Baron who is in a South African jail may be responsible. He apparently has the scope and reach to order the killing of people or individuals he targets, for whatever reasons, even from behind bars.

There's always a first time for everything.

When was the first time an Ibo man carried drug to India?

When was the first time Ojukwu tried to take over Ore?

When was the first time an Ibo man kidnapped another Ibo man for ransom?

When was the first time you posted and/or created a thread on NL?

When was the first time you bought a phone?

When was the first time you drank alcohol?

When was first time you insulted a Yoruba man out of hate and envy?

This is another failed attempt from Ibos to deflect their atrocities and diabolical violence on anything other than themselves.

THE IBO TRIBE IS ONE THAT NEVER WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS ACTIONS.

If they could blame their drug dealing ways on Yorubas, they would.

Unfortunately, the world will make sure Ibos take responsibility this time.

This is an opportunity to look inward and to end the drug dealing ways of the Ibo tribe.
