Eerrr I think being over very over weight/obese has been proven to lead to an early death. There is heavy set and then there is obese. Aunty might be confident good for her but it's not healthy.

I agree being overweight is unhealthy but it is extremely hard to lose and instead of worrying worrying urself sick. Just take each day as it comes and learn to be happy

It's hard I aggree because expectations can be very unrealistic. Weight loss should be a long term journey as you mentioned one day at a time . Most starve themselves rather than look at a more healthier way of living. Thin is does not equate to being healthy either.
