The IRA or Irish republicaan Army for years terrorized the UK with their agenda to break away from the UK and join the Republi of Ireland. Why has there not been a referendum in Northern Ireland but there has been in Scotland where there was no violence. ? After many years of bombings the IRA were forced to push their agenda through elections and consistently have failed to secure a majority in the devolved government.Rather the Pro-Union Democratic Union Party DUP have won all elections and they reject calls for referendums.

The IRA are like IPOB full of sound and fury but no substance. If you want to leave you must push that agenda through a political party. IPOB should form a party ,contest for Senate and House of Representatives and when they win those seats refuse to sit and boycott the institutions. The IRA party Sinn Fein does not want to be merged with England in the UK .Its elected MPs to London refuse to swear an oath of allegiance to the Queen and so they never take their few Westminister seats even though they are a minority compared to the ProUnion Democratic Union Party DUP.

Today the Government at Westmnster is a coalition between the Conservatives and the DUP. Back home in Belfast in the local government the DUP dominate snd so there has bee no call for referendum Despite the fact that the IRA were for years very destructive and as a result Northern Ireland was essentially occupied by the British Army as a result. When push came to shove the IRA was not as popular as it believed.

In summary REFERENDUM WILL NEVER HAPPEN via street protests but through politics and elections. Elect IPOB Senators and Governors then we will take you seriously. Stop pretending to yourselves that other Nigerians don't want you to leave

Nice one.
However, there is no politics of principle in Nigeria. APC = PDP = CPC.
At half-time these guys change shirts and start playing against their own team.
So will the transformation of IPOB to a political party yield any results in a House skewed in favor of Arewa?

Whose problem is that and who is resposible for managing it?

All these "unwanted" special advisers to Biafra on Biafran matters, una no dey tire?
Ritual murder, wire-wire, and all other vices have taken over your communities and you decide to remove the splinter of firewood from our eyes and ignore the log of wood on yours?
Why don't you advise your brethren that with the rate of ritual murders going on, there would be a massive population decline if nothing is done about it?
Please allow us to make the same mistakes IRA made. Is it your mistake?
Ireland, Scotland, Catalunya, Western Sahara, etc. Have they succeeded in forming their own countries?
The fight for freedom is a marathon and not a 100 meters race.
Please keep your advice for YOLICOM and Mr Godson. We do not need it

If you want to continue this conversation be civil and polite . If your father( that is your papa) sees me in real life he will not dare tell me I am out of my mind.

Status quo in life changes when the time for change comes but the problem must not be misrepresented or disstorted by lies and sentiments

I guess nobody told you that Northern Ireland had a referendum in 1973? Britain is a civilised country that does not hold people against their will, unlike Nigeria.

Referendum will never come politically the way Nigeria is constituted because even if IPOB forms a political party and wins every political position in the SS/SE, it will still come back to a Nigeria National Assembly where the other 4 zones will vote against the disintegration of Nigeria. A complete waste of time.

The only way to get referendum is to keep up the protest, keep boycotting elections, putting the pressure up until Nigeria collectively decides to give Biafrans a referendum

Ok, I agree with you about Ireland, now how about Yugoslavia, Czechoslavakia, USSR, Pakistan etc. Was it still by forming a political party?

Even in your write up, you noted that the IRA was into bombings and all.
Tell me how many bombings or even killing of a rat has been done in the name of IPOB?

when ever you're doing any form of comparison always be honest in your comparison.

The only similarity between IPOB and IRA is that both seek for freedom but not in the same approach.

If IPOB continues this way, they'll likely succeed faster than following the advices of people who have vehemently opposed them.

Don't form any political party IPOB, it's all scam

You think Kanu doesn't know that he needs political power to achieve Biafra?.
He will need to unsit the powers in the East to implement this plan you are discussing here.
So who among the powers in the East is he capable of unsitting?,
If you remember, the 2011 governorship elections in SW? announced BAT, as a major player in Nigerian politics.
He did not achieve this without SERVING his people, he served them to earn their trust and this was how he got their co operation.
This guy has to earn his people's trust first before others can begin to take him serious.
For now, just ignore him and his goons.

Unity begging at its most disguised form! Even if all you wrote is factual and logical for the Irish, then remember that we are talking about the zoo here, a lawless place that defies logic. Anybody asking IPOB to form a party and contest in elections in order to get Biafra is ignorant of how things work in the zoo or is simply being mischivous so they can buy time and derail Biafra actualization. IPOB have within their midst people that are way smarter than you, more educated than you and equally more exposed than you. The day IPOB forms a party in Nigeria is the day the struggle will die. If you like call it noise, propaganda or chest beating but the fact remains that IPOB's grandstanding & vociferous method is actually working tremendously well otherwise Biafra issue wont have been the biggest thorn in Nigeria's flesh today. Do you think that if IPOB sustains the tempo that Nigeria will survive it? THE ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE RESULT IN THE ZOO IS TO GO THE IPOB WAY! DONT CRY FOR US PLEASE!!!
