Borussia Dortmund have told Barcelona that they will not consider selling Ousmane Dembele for less than €150 million (£135 million).

Dortmund’s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke indicated earlier this week that they would reject an opening bid worth around €100 million.

Barcelona is searching for a replacement for Neymar.

Dembele would like a move to Barcelona but knows he may need to stay with Dortmund for another season.

Dembele’s former club Rennes are also believed to have a sell-on clause which would mean they are due up to €30m of any transfer fee received.

You are right that was a grace mistake selling Neymar without first securing a replacement. Now all the clubs want to tap a large percentage from Neymar's buyout fee.

Liverpool with Coutinho now Dortmund with Dembele.
If they insist on buying a replacement they will get a player who is not half as good as Neymar for 3/4 of Neymar's buy out fee.
