Your Take: Call For The Adoption Of Independent Candidacy by helinues(op):
What is your take about the call for the adoption of independent candidacy? Do you agree or disagree

An Independent or non-partisan politician is an Individual politician not affiliated to any political party and stand as an independent candidate in an election, which is alien to Nigeria’s electoral practice.

Agree wholeheartedly....the only problem is that Nigerians play money politics.
We sell our votes to the highest bidder and so, some independent candidates that are not financially bouyant may not win elective positions.

The likes of jagz, mark, ekwere, atiku will still continue to dominate and they will always use their children and god-sons to dominate and oppress the masses.

Apart from independent candidacy, inec should enforce a limit on how much can be spent on election campaigns and the likes. It will favor the independent candidates...

You have a point but i tell you a lot of Nigerians are sensible now. Sufferness has reset d brain of many more. This may not yield much at the Presidential or governorship levels yet but it'll suffice at the lower levels of lg chairmen, councillors and prolly state assembly levels. Otherwise, good people will perpetually get schemed out based on party affiliation.

Way to go.....

Una no know more than to complain
Shebi una talk say independent candidate go solve all.
Now you realise its not candidature but the candidate that wins.
If you can't win in party primary you can't win in general election
We sell our votes to the highest bidder and so, some independent candidates that are not financially bouyant may not win elective positions.
So
What else is new
Every country votes for the highest bidder.
Ours is just prepaid while theirs is post paid

Wetin your papa de look.
Wetin you de look
Join them and fix it and stop waiting for Messiah

Abeg o, they should adopt it asap. The earlier the better. Hopefully Nigerians aren't forced to chose between two horrendous parties anymore.

OK social reject that's why you stopped jumping in their asking your inane questions. Lol asking these guys 30 questions because your too lazy to google. It's still gunny you cried like little girl because I told you to educate yourself.

Lol I been taking you to school forever inept child. Look at this dumb statement here. No you don't Google questions you bother people to spoon feed you answers. They didn't want to so you actually left their mentions alone.

When I told you to quit bothering those guys like lower you cried telling you want specific answers. You're such a fraud. When told you to channel your time to learn economics and politics you wanted to follow men instead.

mikolo80:
I dare you. I'm bored. I have your time for the next two months. Clearly somebody mad that no one wants to follow him or her or them or it...
Funny thing is both those guys you wanted attention from follow me. You equate me telling to learn on you own to ignorance then.
mikolo80:
he can summarise.
I'm here for specific answers to specific questions.I'd rather stand on giant shoulders than slog through the mud.
