I have been pondering about this for awhile now. Even at Birthdays,Marriages,Seminars,Churches Suya Nights only Abokis are allowed to prepare this delicacy. Does this means that anyone else can do this?caterers don't even go there when you ask them for suya among other delicacies to be prepared, but why?

originally:Depends on the chef/caterer. There are lots of non-northerners who make suya, myself included. Granted, you are more likely to find Northerners making it, because it is their dish - just like you are more likely to find people from the South South and South East making Banga soup. However, there are exceptions to the norm.
