I just weak, GTB just rejected my 20 Dollars i wanted to deposite because year on it is written 2006. you have this experience before?.I just bought it from Aboki yesterday ooo.I never knew this before. Will he collect it back from me? whalah dey oo.

again, Who can transfer $12 to my dom account -i need it urgently, is it possible? i will transfer in Naira to you.

you should have known this na. Try your luck, take it back to the aboki.

Yes, one Aboki told me that he would not change any dollar that is below 2009... so it is possible that GTB is also rejecting.

Please can you ask them the minimum year that the dollar note must have for them to accept it.

I had same ish with stanbic ibtc,i wanted depositing $50 dollars in $10 denomination in my dom account.it was rejected...

It got me wondering why a bank should be rejecting whatever notes in whatever denomination.It got me wondering...this Country sef.

And you will see dem wit all their fake adverts for dom acct and all their stupid email yet dey reject everything without any proper information. Shame.

Most Nigerian banks don't accept lower denomination dollars because customers don't accept them. It is always good to shop for either 50 dollars or 100 dollars. Also make sure that the date written on it is 2009 upward.
