plus those with the DARIN II upgrades may or may not be upgraded

pic of older DARIN II upgrade for jag

well when the Indians got the jaguars , they got a raw deal becz the aircraft's were fuuking monkey models with weak engines, outdated avionics and navigational systems .

plus the aircraft's had severe maintenance problems due to their unsuitability to the harsh tropical operating environment in India. the OEM refused to rectify the problems or demanded exorbitant price to do the same.

when the aircraft's were airborne , the pilots were totally taxed to bring it home ,so much so they were clueless as to their location angry

DARIN I upgrade gave the jags much needed reliable navigation systems

DARIN II upgrade improved it further

while the latest DARIN III upgrade gives it even better performance

DARIN III upgrades includes

1.newer powerful Honeywell F-125N engine
2.EL/M-2052 radar
3.all-glass cockpit
4.HOTAS controls
5.open system architecture mission computer (OSAMC)
6.munitions control unit (MCU)
7.digital map generator
8.wide-angle HUD
9.integrated defensive aids suite (IDAS)
10.air combat maneuvering instrumentation (ACMI)
11.engine and flight instrument system (EFIS)
12.inertial navigation system with GPS and Geodetic height correction
13.autopilot with altitude select and HNAV
14.identification of friend or foe (IFF)
15.ASPJ and LDP integration

One is either photoshopped or these 2 pictures were taken in the same place at the same time.

One is single seat while the other is double seat.

It seems the camera was placed in a particular position. if ever either of them was photoshopped then it should be the 1st one.

drdo Charge Line Mine Clearing (1A)(Baby viper) - CLMC (V)

A Charge Line Mine Clearing (Vehicle) equipment was designed and developed to meet the tactical and strategic requirement of the Army for neutralizing antitank land mines and creating a safe lane for the advancement of tanks or armored vehicles in a mine infested war field. The CLMC (V) consists of an explosive filled hose 300 m long laid in a box and mounted on a two wheeled trailer towed by a tank. The explosive hose is projected onto the minefield by a cluster of six rockets. It gets straightened in flight with the help of parachutes and detonates after landing actuating the anti personnel and /antitank mines by blast. A safe lane 6 m wide and about 250 m long is formed by a single unit. The store was accepted by the Army for induction into Service.

drdo CLMC (P)

This equipment was developed to clear an infantry safe lane of 180 m length and 0.5 m width for the passage of assaulting troops. It consists of TNT/CE explosive filled hose , rocket motor, launcher, parachute and initiator. The system weighs about 317 kg and packed in 8 packs. The rocket motor on firing propels the linear explosive charge from safe distance. The parachute deploys at preset time and straightens the hose while landing. The initiators positioned at both ends of the hose initiates the explosive charge after pre-set time delay. The blast generated due to detonation of charge actuates A/P mines. HEMRL supplied more than 1500 sets

drdo ADRUSHY MK-II, an anti tank mine with shaped charge and magnetic influence fuze.

Armour Penetration 85 mm causing 'k' kill

Full width attack capability

Tank trawl discrimination

Reusable with three field settable SN periods of 10, 40, 80 days.

Immunity against CLMC (Charge Line Mine Clearing) blast.

Electronic cum mechanical safety.

Length -- 330 mm
Width -- 240 mm
Height -- 140 mm
Total weight -- 7.6 kg
Explosive -- 2.3 kg
Body -- 10% GRP Polycarbonate
Linear -- Copper
Battery cells -- LiSOCI2(lithium Thino Chloride)

The mine can withstand the blast of CLMC (V) at 2.5 m and is capable of the tank trawl discrimination, which is achieved by accommodating active sensors developed for this purpose. Active sensor is based on mutual induction principle. It consists of digital signature processor, microcontroller, and analog signal processor for processing of input signals. A software has also been developed for ensuring functioning of microcontroller at the appropriate event.

Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Nobody:
in our philosophy and traditions

we have 3 gods Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva they r manifestations of the same energy source of the universe - aditi shakti

these 3 gods denotes 3 parts of the inescapable and perpetual eternal cycle

creation (Brahma)

preservation (Vishnu)

destruction for the purpose of recreation (Shiva)

in human history this cycle holds true as in everything.

every 100/200 years or even less humans have engaged in large scale warfare , all this has been preceded by birth of new civilization/countries , its growth and rise to power before its destruction

status quo cannot be maintained between humans as the points of conflicts r infinite, and thus conflicts r inevitable.

this is something we as humans must learn to live with

in times of peace prepare for war Publius Flavius Vegetius Renatus

the cycle of birth growth and destruction is ingrained in our DNA-- it is a optimal fail safe solution to allow the best to populate as well as to deny stagnation of the human species and also u can extrapolate it to everything else in the universe.

anyways the NOKO U/S conflict is the mirror to a larger conflict that is between 2 camps

one which seeks to maintain status quo

and another which seeks to change it

NOKO is just a fall guy and nothing more

similarly Syria was a fall guy for economic reasons (oil/gas pipeline) for gulf countries and the west until Russians saw through it . (turkey swung like a pendulum between the 2 sides. grin)

again as far as i am concerned NOKO / US conflict might just get side tracked by a Ind/ia/ch/ina conflict or maybe even end up as a cascading effect of the NOKO/US conflict with chin/a seeking to divert attention from its vulnerable eastern front.

last i checked entire north east front has been mobilized ,regular train services has been stopped to make way for army train convoys, no government will do that unless they have concrete intelligence of impeding/possible attack from the opposite front.

lets see if my 3rd phase ie destruction is near - i wonder if i will be reborn as a human if choice is given i would prefer to stay back in hell and while there might as well decide to poach the virgins of the jihadists in order to make hell livable grin grin grin

any married guys here ? grin

they might testify the veracity of the truth in the perpetual cycle of birth ( conditionally loved ), continuity (remote controlled) and destruction (ass whooped) at the hands of their wives on a daily basis. grin grin grin

This is an opportunity to recruit guys. Give citizenship to 200k Germans, 100k Brits, 500k South Koreans. This will be the leading country after WWIII, we would literally be the super power when everything else is a nuclear wasteland. We better save a few smarties while we can.

So how do they earn it? Give it to anyone who'll pass a CSIR prepared IQ test on first come first serve basis.
