The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, on Monday declared a nationwide indefinite strike. 

Some schools have complied with the order while some are yet to. Here are the schools who aren't on strike:

1. Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU says it will not join the strike.
2. University of Ilorin, UNILORIN says it will not join the strike.
3. UNILAG. Authorities at the University of Lagos to comply from Wednesday.
4. LASU. The Lagos State University is currently on a lecture-free week pending examinations. Authorities say they'll comply as soon as possible.
5. University of Benin, UNIBEN. To join strike on Wednesday
6. Ambrose Ali University, AAU. To join strike on Wednesday
7. University of Abuja, UNIABUJA. To join on Wednesday.
8. Ebonyi State University (EBSU) said it will hold a congress to decide whether to comply or not.
9. Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. To make a decision on Wednesday.

For 7-8 yrs...9ja students would be fighting battles against ....a 5-yr course...due to ASUU

while their counterparts in other western clime has completed their master degree...

just one day power go change hand ether with ASUU or FG to restore sanity in our education..

......and My Finals is supposed to Kickoff on the 28th of this month.

As long as the School is a member of ASUU (Most Private universities and some state owned uniz are not). The National Executive Council of ASUU will be the ones to set the charges & consequences.

Recall that whatever promises the Federal Government will be fulfilling should have to pass through the ASUU NEC.

Following the congressional resolution of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Obafemi Awolowo University chapter of the union have resolved not to join the nationwide strike, at least for now.
ASUU OAU shelved the strike to allow students of the university to write their first semester examination for 2016/2017 session scheduled to hold between 14th of August and 2nd of September, 2017.
Dr. Niyi Sunmonu, ASUU OAU Caretaker Chairman who spoke with IFE CITY NEWS in a telephone conversation said “we have decided in the congress that we won’t join the strike. Our students need to write their exam and larger percentage of our members have decided not to”.

They are all complying one by one o.
