there's no denying that there are bad eggs amongst lecturers and the blantant truth is that there are bad eggs in every profession in Nigeria.....that aside, the main thrust of my argument is the quality of university education in Nigeria.
lecturers blazing the trail.... In the Corruption sector... Take it or leave it

Some persons are here pointing fingers at the lecturers as though they are undeserving of what they are asking for. If the lecturers are well paid and the infrastructural standard raised, they will surely sit up. There's almost no week that goes by without us being graced with the photo of one or two political office holders attending the graduation ceremony of their wards in world class universities abroad. Can't Nigeria be like those countries? Or don't the Nigerian students deserve better?

If when Goodluck Jonathan, a graduate and a former lecturer was in power and ASUU could strike for a whole 6months back in 2012, calculate the number of years ASUU and ASUP would strike for with a dullard in power and on holidays?

Your time starts now. undecided
