I have been asking myself, technology is advancing and even our phones can do alot of things our laptops and desktop can do. So i ask in the future can a tablet or a mobile phone be used for programming in the nearest future? Yes or No please give reasons. Mods do the needful

Funny you are still asking this. There are many IDEs on the playstore for app and web development. The one below is for Java. Programming on phone sucks though.

I use a Lenovo K4 Note. I tried learning with my phone but it's frustrating. I just paused it for now till I get a laptop. They are many tutorial apps on playstore. If you are interested in web design, download 'w3schools offline'. I was able to learn html5 and css3 with it.
