They are many . Most are the scums of the Nigerian society . The Touts , drunks are very atheistic . Try preaching the gospel to them . I entered a bus the other day and the conductor was mocking a preacher .

Try preaching in a peer palour and see mockery . Some traders too are very atheistic . They tell you nothing like heaven or hell and its all lies .

No one wants preachers pestering them in public.

Even the religious people that I know complain about preachers on buses.

I agree, poverty and ignorance are the driving forces of atheism.

There are other forces as well, such as ;

1) The need to be with the in-crowd.

2) They enjoy using high sound words they can not understand.

3) They hammer people and their friends with these words till the atmosphere becomes chilled and hostile.

Not only are the atheists here, they are growing in numbers.
The ones who are providing enlightenment here on NL, are helping those who are scared of the harassment of the apologists, to call their bluff.

The apologists are already fidgeting and despair, because of the onslaught of atheists on their infantile claims.

Here, the atheists have effectively driven a bigger wedge between the conservative and liberal apologists.

It's both exciting and instructive for me, to see religious beliefs demystified.
