82a has been inducted by russian and has been seen in syria

well 82a is a vast improvement over the other btrs

was inside one type, not so comfortable with the usual complement of passengers, but now the 82a ergonomics have been vastly improved

so has the protection level

it is amphibious too

so good enough

i heard the Russians might install the 57 mm gun on it

the Russians learnt very well from the Chechnya conflict so they got the 30mm gun with a high elevation capability.

it serves dual purpose both anti air and against targets in high rise buildings in urban conflicts in addition to surface targets

if you have . not noticed Odunayaw and myself are always up at funny hours, i have a bad sleeping pattern and sometimes i am just not in the same time zone.

MOD recently cleared the purchase of 6 Apache for the army.

was surprised at the low number ordered , maybe more will be ordered later on. army wants 39 Apache.


me thinks Apache along with LCH's and Rudra's will form a attack team. The Apache with its Longbow radar will vector the LCH's and Rudra's to designated targets, and itself can destroy other targets.

22 Apache already ordered for the airforce.

hmm. It's overarmed for close quarter confrontations. Too many guns on that thing. It can take out swams of Somali pirates riding fast attack crafts towards it.

It would have been very beautiful during the urban combats at bama, monguno etc

But as we all know the Army then were lead by greed than common sense

no supprise,south korea and israel has simmilar systems for long time.but they may have export restrictions,not like CHINA would sell to almost any county
