To be sincere with you, nobody is stopping them, but somehow they keep blaming Yoruba people right from 2015 till now. Last year, some Yoruba people even opened threads for Igbos to tell us how we are stopping them, but they never gave us any answer. Yet, they still claim Yoruba people are holding them.

Nobody is blaming Yorubas,but they keep poking their nose in Biafra issues and they also try to make mockery of it. That's is why most Biafra threads always end up as tribal fight threads.Odega is a SSner or Niger delta. He is from delta state. I am emphasizing this cos sometimes the so called Yorubas would say they came in defense of the Ssners or Niger deltans. Pls let's all man speak for himself. Leaders of Niger deltans have also been speaking on the Biafra issue as well. It is not in the place of the yorubas to speak for Niger deltans. If you mind your business,nobody will blame you or fight you.
To all Igbos, Pls stop mentioning or calling yorubas on threads for Igbos unless they invade,interfer,pry,or poknose, them you have the right to for back. All man should mind their business.

I am Igbo,but I for one and Igbos in general were never brought up to hate Muslims. In fact when I was growing up I never knew the difference between Muslims and Christians. I got to know Muslims were hateful when I served in the north. I couldn't believe they were rejoicing after the 9/11attack.i totally was shocked .some even refuse to sell things to you in the market. My experience in the north made me circumspect about Muslims. Over the years they have become worse for it and more fanatical. They kill at slightest provocation .
I don't hate them but I really do not want a relationship with them and am sure it's same for most Igbos. They try to impose their religion on others. They bring religion into politics and social life. They build their mosque everywhere even in markets and offices. They are the ones making govt spend money on pilgrimages. Christians not wanting to be outdone also then make their own demands that same should be done for them. That's how religious bigotry came to be in Nigeria. Religion should be personal. Another e.g if their imposition is sharia law,sharia courts at fed level even recently Crk, Islamic and Arabic studies issues .with issues like this Nigeria won't go forward. In recent times, yoruba Muslims seem to align more with the northern agenda that why you hear people using the word more often. If Yoruba are truthful especially Christians amongst them, they will stop denying it. Osun state hijab issue says a lot you know.

They are the one major tribe not concerned with religion. Christians marry Muslims in Yoruba land.

On the other hand, some Igbo commentators here refer to Islam as a religion they cannot tolerate.

Some have even been suggested to be behind the killings in Ozubulu.

Frances Odega made a statement in relation to the specifically did he not? It was a DIRECT response to that. Which is why October 1st (Nigeria Independence Day) specifically is being used.

We know this recent threat was a reply to the months of agitative speech from Radio Biafra, Kanu and the rest.
In years passed they have not given ultimatums or have they?
We have all witnessed the build up to it which before now had gone unanswered by Northerners so let's at least be honest about that fact.

If you in a shared house with someone and they are constantly keep saying they hate this house they want to leave and they specifically don't want to live with you in fact ,how long will it be before you say 'okay go then'?

If you said to them go then, should they try and claim victim hood for you 'agreeing' for them them to leave? Anyone hearing the story will not see them in that instance as a victim or blame you for telling them to go ahead and leave.

Those claiming to speak for Igbos were shouting they want to leave FIRST before the north said 'go'. That is the truth or did they expect to be begged to stay?
