@op, Guy, go and face your studies and write your exams well. The last time i checked, the yard stick for having good results is doing well in the exams and a good continuous assessment score but not by attending lectures for 1 year and writing exams.

Hahahaha. What do you expect? Majority of government universities in Nigeria don't have the necessary funding to survive. Hence, they are heading towards collapse. In sane societies, if there is massive failure in a particular course, the lecturer will he held accountable because it will he seen that he did not impart knowledge properly.
My advice, please switch to a university in other west African country. The situation is almost beyond redemption!!!

I know some lecturers are sadist but students have a major role to play. A is difficult to get in but you can easily take the B's home and least C home.

Thank God that am illiteracy, so if I had went to school, I will have failure like this.. .. Me see know say the resut is worsted

Are u sure u guys took d courses on full-time or u were teaching some where, cos I know many or most pg students don't have time to study like UG students

I don't have much to say, but the truth of the matter is none of the parties are at fault. Most people doing postgraduate programmes are only doing it because dere are no jobs. Most of them are not happy with their present condition. And our society is so f**ked that parents push you to do MSc just because they don't want you to stay at home and the typical Nigerian child cannot insist on what he wants.

Lol, I'm not surprised, it has always been like that except if it is not ElectrIKA Engineering department. This result is ok, in fact it is excellent. I see As and Bs. The department that can fail everybody in a class, or better still give 1 B, 2 Cs, 1 D, 6 Es and 60 Fs. You don't joke with the department, the worst is if you have a bad HOD, then every student needs to pray from mountain to mountain. Some lecturers are considerate though.

Let's call a spade a spade. They failed and that's the fact. Postgraduate requires you to have good foundation with your first degree.

I passed through this department and can attest they are not many sadist in EE, dont know of now but during my school dayz EE has the highest number of First Class in B.Eng program all through my 5 years If it was MEE i would have concurred, their own dey body

In all honesty many Post Graduate students dont attend lectures, Spend less time studying, they only come to school during exams period...Not all courses in Engineering you can just read up all on your own accord...

Don't study for postgraduate program in Nigeria, lecturers and the entire school believes they are giving you a certificate that will make you too great in life, hence they will make life extremely difficult if not impossible. How come the same Nigerians go to UK schools and make first class look so easy?

Not two heads...... either deep pockets or good bodies accessible to the lecturers on request. With such poor overall results the lecturers need to be investigated for incompetence, favoritism, corruption and exploitation.
