A colleague and I will be flying a small plane to London next week and we are cleared to grant free flight to relatives going that route at their own risk, no insurance incase of accident.

Here are some clarifications;

Not more than five people from my side, I don't have anybody right now.
He/she must have a US passport or valid UK visa.
No infants.
Make arrangements for your own food which will go through security clearance as we will not have any flight attendant. It's a small military jet.
Take off will be from Miramar San Diego USMC base, and not LAX or commercial airport.

Every Nigerian is always my relative and I'll also run a background check which he or she will consent to. I've done this before though and back then, they were some UK tourists going back home.

That does not make sense immigration wise, relatives means close family members and your background check will not expose somebody with a criminal record or fake visa.

Relatives there means at my own discretion. Like I told you, I've done it before for UK tourists and I don't have any white British relative.
Background check will expose criminal records, that's what it's actually meant for. As for fake visa, the FAA will take care of that.
