What we have are manipulative and dubious politicians and their hateful followers who will seek to twist every narrative to suit their interests. From President Buhari 'is dead', to 'he is on life support', to 'he is just taking pictures and not video' to 'he should just resign'. You guys should grow-up and find constructive things to do. Mindless hatefulness is not equal to opposition politics, dissect the issues, bring your own better alternatives for the public to learn and appreciate. These are the things that are important not whipping-up ethnic, sectional or religious sentiments to seek relevance. |

I really don't disagree with you and to a large extent you're right on the money. However, it's really hard to differentiate your assertion from your person. Knowing the person you are and how your views are skewed to favour the religion your belong to, it's not rally hard to see how this thread is just an attempt to call out those who said a lot of things about Muhhamadu Buhari, whether maliciously or truthfully. I wonder why this topic was not created when Jonathan was in power. Is it because you were a member of the group you describe? The problem with Africans is that theyhave the opportunity to correct the wrongs but pay lip service and then complain when people start making malicious statement such as how sick or dead the president is. How difficult would it be for a president to release a simple 3 minute video just for Nigerians to know what's going on and know the true state of his health. But no, they would rather shroud everything in secrecy and the only time we see the president is when politicians start taking turns to visit him in London. What about the millions that voted him into power or those who didnt. Are they useless? We really need to start telling ourselves the truth irrespective of our tribal, religious and political affiliations. |

APC taught us We had critics until APC started hate speeches against Jonathan. Even when in control of everything now, they can't prove all the billions that they claim stolen spread on social media |

ITbomb:Was it APC that extended NTA Network news for 30 minutes to attack then candidate Buhari and sow seeds of division? Was it APC that launched campaign against Tinubu for months on AIT that it eventually had to apologize and retract later? The APC to be fair was largely attacking Jonathan on his policies which the world acknowledges were terrible except for his hard-core supporters whose only defence for him is 'you too'. This strategy lost Jonathan and the PDP power and it definitely cannot gain it back doing the same thing. There was no one more vocal than Alhaji Lai Mohammed during APC's opposition days. If what you are claiming is true, PDP senators could have held him to account for it during the ministerial screening but instead they laughed when they saw him and asked him to take a bow and leave. You and people like you cannot be more PDP than those senators, if they acknowledged the APC's chief spokesperson's class as an opposition person, your submission holds little value. |

Afam4eva:You as always trying to justify wrongdoing with all the classic fallacies. Stringing words together does not prove intelligence when you are illogical with it. Anyways, the government has the capacity and willingness to address hate speech. Those that refuse to heed advice would simply have their day in court sooner rather than later. |

maclatunji:As usuall, you care more about how unintelligent i am rather than actually answer some of the questions that i asked. Goodluck to the government on determining how hate speeches are a crime. |
