Can you see the power of a farmer the biggest stake holder in agricultural and agro based industry in Africa Yet this people have arid land not as rich as those land in the south west, east and the middle belt of Nigeria, Yet we claim this people are stag illiterate This is evidence that the North will continue to rule Nigeria industrially and commercially for the next 100 years.
I doubt if a Yoruba man, Igbo or a South South man can sparingly attempt to dole out cash this way

It is not 500Ml Naira each but the entire money Dangote donate is 500Ml. It is something I watch on TV.

Banks and other well meaning Nigerians also donate.

I misread the title before. Dangote donate 500M and State Government 500M. That is what the each means.

I am blown. The coming together of Northerners when tragedy strike is one of their unifying strengths.

Imagine. Nobody is tearing each other down here,or even trying to score a cheap political point by blaming the other person.

Just imagine if that market was in Owerri. Some illiterates,would have instead of coming together to help their brothers like Dangote did, would start blaming Governor Okorocha as the cause.

And it will start from Nairaland.

Check the topic very well which says Kano Government, Dangote donates 500m each to the fire victims, this simply means that it was both parties that donated to the whole people that was affected by the fire and not that they gave each of the victims 500m each.
