2aces:Don't join him. It dangerous! A thinner could be White Spirit, Turpentine, Kerosine or combination of Organic solvents depending on the type of paint you want to thin down. If peradventure you buys a thinner that contains MIBK (Methy Iso-butyl ketone), consider the plastic part of that injector written off cos this chemical will attack it badly ![]() |

Ten06:Bruv i had to buy an $800 fuel pump because i started dabbling with xylene. It slowly but steadily killed the original. The right thing is for the authorities to import PMS with RON 98 aka Premium gasoline |

royallord1:I just don't know their problems with thermostats, they don't seem to like that device or hear the word "thermostat" at all. |

2aces:People use it to clean catalytic converters. You only do it once. I ran it on two cars I owned and it was a one time event 1 gallon to 15 gallons of gasoline. Did not turn the check engine light off but I am sure the engine was cleaner. There are videos on YouTube that talk about it |

It may be wrong theoretically because uve not tried it....but i dont think it's all wrong...some people have proven it right practically. But the thing is ...dont keep it in the gas tank like a fuel......pour it in and burn it immediately. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TnAk6etxJk |

It's better to use fuel injector cleaner on a half tank of fuel than using thinner. |

Raypappi:So many conflicting ideas, but the fact remains the same, thinner is bad for car engines when routinely used, but can increase performance if the engine is on it's way out already. |
