Bro they will take more than six ppl this year. Maybe above 10ppl. This year and last year no be the same so chill till the list is out. The release of the list has nothing to do with when they will pass out cuz on release of the list, they will also tell us when to resume training.

You are not far away from the truth but change is the constant thing in life. Let's compare Dssc 2016 and 2017.

1. In 2016, everyone that applied online was shortlisted for documentation while in 2017 they have shortlisted only candidates whose courses match with the available courses listed in the requirements.

2. In 2016 13-14 candidates were called for a week (7-10 days) interview from each state while 50 candidates were called for one week interview in 2017. But FCT has 40 candidates.

3. In 2016, from their guidelines. 2.2 is the bench mark while 2.1 is the bench mark in 2017. ( Though God has helped people like us with 2.2 and we have attended one week interview)

4. In 2016, the minimum height for male was 1.68m while 2017 is 1.66m.

5. In 2017 additional barracks were added compare to 2016

6. Even NAF recruits ( SSCE, OND and NCE) that passed out on 21st July, 2017 recorded the highest number of candidates compared to the past recruits (1928 candidates).

N.B: There are some states that competition is less. As in, most people that have the requirements have 2.2. That's why some people escaped with 2.2 from other states. In the first enlistment, Yobe State in total has only 53 candidates and 50 people were called for interview. Do you mean only 3 failed in documentation. What of absentees? And more than 60% of the said 50 candidates have 2.2. Compare to some states that have about 300 candidates in the first enlistment. E.g Rivers State.

I am not here to cajole anyone nor to give false hope.
But from a source ( not compulsory to be perfect). They are taking more ( about 15-20) from each state. Best of luck to all of us and Happy Sunday

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted the 2017 annual physical fitness test for its personnel in a bid to assess their fitness levels in undertaking various assigned military duties. The exercise took place in all NAF units across the country from 21-25 August 2017, in line with the directives of the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar. In addition to improving the overall physical fitness of personnel, the exercise was also designed to enhance their mental alertness for improved service delivery. To meet these goals, personnel were examined in various physical activities including 2.5km jog/5km walk, cardiovascular endurance as well as tests of flexibility (seat and reach) and muscular strength. Although an annual exercise, the fitness assessment is mandatory for all NAF personnel especially in the wake of their participation in various internal security operations nationwide

It is always like that, people who didn't make it will say those who made it had godfathers. When there are 100 applicants and 10 vacancies, what do we expect to happen?

Even if the recruitment were to be free and fair, only 10 applicants will still make it and 99 will lose too.

Those people with godfathers may be qualified too in all ramifications, they just had extra help. I wish u guys the best. I have learnt not to bother myself with such this but always pray that God connect me to someone that will really help me like the people being helped.

bro it happens, no be only jibrilla enter thru backdoor! Pple had bn warned on dis thread! B4 embarking on jos trip, Someone even attacked me say i dey discourage pple, when i echoed d warning dat its d final list stage dats impt nt all other stages cos na formality. I am a victim of a diff RECRUITMENT scam as well & i vowed never to engage in formality. I would rather hunt 4godfadas dan job hunt & waste my cash&time on formality. Lol
