Still at the venue, it's going okay. From what I gathered TS is gonna be soon. Saw other staff of FB, contract I presume doing the same stuff(documentation) with us.

Would there still be more documentation mails?

I'm sorry I didn't ask that. But I was also told those who have been assessed are about 70% of candidates enlisted for the AC.

I was there for hours only because more people arrived before me.Documentation took long not because there was any big deal in the process rather the number of people and the number of staff attending to people. I spent less than ten minutes during the process mainly because I didn't have issues with my credentials, I presume.I wasn't asked any question about any thing on my credentials after which I was given my medical form. For those going there tomorrow, try go with a valid ID card.International passport, voter's card, drivers license, national ID if available.National ID slip only as means of ID was initially frowned at.

Good evening, was work ID accepted as a valid means of identification ?

Only FBN contract staff ID as specified in the mail. External candidates are to come with any of the four acceptable valid means of ID in Nigeria.

Thanks Boss. Deliotte offer just came in today and these guys are not kidding about their allowances o..Approximately N3,150,000 gross. Its too good to oass up and wait unsurely for firatbank. I dont tink first bank can match dat entry level pay..

Leaving first bank for una... not going for documentation. . Kudus to the extra one person taking my place at training school cos of me.

regards to all

cloud9usher:

Well, for sure Deloitte pays higher than First bank entry level, what First bank staff would have better than Deloitte would be the allowances you enjoy with First bank after you are confirmed. Like one of my senior colleague working at First bank always says: "If your eyes are fixed on salary for First bank you might be disappointed but its the allowances that put the icing on the cake"

But I tell you that having Deloitte on your CV makes you stand out anywhere, most people start off at places like Deloitte and then cross over after a while to places like banking, oil and gas and get higher management positions in such firms, Deloitte would give you a better springboard in your career pursuits.

You said you were offered a role in HR, from your qualifications you are a top notch candidate for Audit unit and not HR, you'd hopefully become chartered soon so I don't see the sense in you being in HR, and you sure know that the fastest growth paths in Deloitte are in Audit or Tax units and not in HR, so if I were you I'd think twice here. That's why from the start of my post I asked if the position at Deloitte is a audit/tax analyst/associate position or not.

Why should you become chartered and be working in some boring HR unit? HR at Deloitte is not as juicy as First bank HCMD (Human Capital Management and Development) where trainees look forward to making it into HCMD after training school, HCMD at First bank is like the hot cake place for trainees.

The best firm for your career path is definitely at Deloitte but the unit you are being offered at Deloitte doesn't conform with your career path so I think its better to get chattered and finish training school with First bank and then get streamlined towards accounting/auditing management positions in First bank. I don't think you can switch easily from HR to audit in Deloitte, if you can then you can go for Deloitte but if you easily can't then First bank it is.

I thought I listed the IDs that didn't have issues above.Well,It rests on the candidate to prove/defend whatever ID he/she is presenting. The lady requested for a valid ID stating the age of a person.Work isn't a valid ID to me though. For national ID card slip to be questioned, you should get the drift.

FBN TS is always in batches. The AC itself was conducted in batches. Majority of those who went for documentation today and will go tomorrow did thier AC between 1st and 15th of July, if I'm not mistaken. I'm yet to see anyone called from the latter stages.
Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by mayorchelsea(m): 12:14am On Aug 31, 2017
@phyths102,congrats. It's obvious you got what you've always wanted. Please, have you heard of anyone who made it to medical stage and eventually didn't get an offer especially as it relates to firstbank?I know it can happen with recruitment/outsourcing agencies where you can do documentation and never get the offer. You've insinuated that possibility and it's worrying. Your reply is needed.
Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by kchris007(m): 12:17am On Aug 31, 2017
I did mine on the 22nd of July... And went for documentation yesterday.

As said in earlier posts, just get all your document ready... And pls, pls take along with you a valid means of identification to avoid unnecessary issues and delays.

Cheers to all that did theirs yesterday and those that will do theirs today.

What happens to those who didn't get invite for AC
Re: 2016 Firstbank Graduate Trainee Programme by shola87(f): 6:14am On Aug 31, 2017
The call for documentation is actually based on performance at the AC.. If you guys noticed well, those doing documentation now did their AC in July after getting proper "info" from those who did theirs in June.
