Chamberlin transfer was almost done before the the Chelsea club informed him of the role he will be playing. I have never seen such. Aren't they meant to inform him of the position he would be filling for the club before pushing for the buy? You then allow toteham to steal a llorente from you dine minute of close of transfer window. Abeg the morning shows the day and I won't be surprise if Conte takes a walk before mid-season.

You can't blame Costa. After all, he was on his own when his coach sent him an sms that his services are no longer required. Even in an interview two weeks back, Conte said his decision about Costa is final. Watch the interview and see.

Bro Chelsea did well in the transfer market. Llorente went to Spurs cos Chelsea doesn't give anybody above 30 years more than a year contract(ask the club legends Lampard and Terry) and Spurs desperately gave Llorente, 32yrs, 2 years contract as a back-up to Kane. As a player at that age you jump to it.

Chelsea went for Ox to boast their homegrown quota. Ox wanted a midfield role which Conte can't guarantee because of Fabregas, Kante and Bakayoko. Honestly Ox can't put any of them on the bench. Ox plays well as a wing back but he said he doesn't enjoy it.

After Ox deal collapse, Chelsea went for another English Barkley. Honestly Barkley was rushed into the whole thing by Everton and he like Ox, although, still injured, felt he will be a squad player rather than a first tean player.

Lukaku deal was one the club was slow to act because they feel Lukaku doesn't worth 100m. Believing that Everton will come down but Manchester United and Mourinho acted fast by adding Rooney to the deal with cash and add ons.

Juventus doesn't want to sell Sandro aftet selling Bonucci to AC Milian. Chelsea wanted to make him the highest paid defender but Juventus doesn't even want to negotiate with Chelsea. Sandro didn't reject Chelsea.

But I think Chelsea did some good business bringing Morata, Bakayoko, Rudiger, Drinkwater, Zappacosta and even Christensen. While you look at it critically, apart from Costa and maybe Matic, it's an upgrade compared to what they have last season.

Costa situation wasn't handle well. And I understand Conte because his first welcome to Chelsea by Costa was I want to leave. He managed and begged him, all of a sudden again in January at the middle of a title challenge, Costa wants out again. You know Italians, they don't forget easily. I get the feeling that Chelsea have succeeded in adding a discordant tune to the sweet melody of their season. Costa is that discordant tune cos I now doubt his commitment to the team. Hope they don't rue or regret it at the end of the season though. Up SE and Viva United.

I wanted Ox at Chelsea because he can play RWB and LWB but not as a midfield. If you are a coach, will you play Ox ahead of Kante, Fabregas and Bakayoko? Ox best position is Wing back not midfield. Ox can't play in Conte kind of midfield, that's why Fabregas struggled last year and now with experience he is adapting. Barkley can play in front of the strikers in a 3-5-2 formation but not in a 3-4-3 formation. So get me right, in Conte's kind of midfield, two of them can't play there. So demanding for a starting shirt in the midfield position when you failed to nail a position in your club is because they are English. Chalobah, Ox and Barkley are not world class players, they are just average overated English boys that can't come close to the bench of top European clubs

Costa made his position known the moment Conte arrived. After being pampered to stay, he decided he's going to move in January again. It amazes me that he's now playing the victim. Costa is a fantastic player any day, but everyone is replaceable. He's trying to bully Conte without knowing the board has Conte's back.

A lot of commenters on here don't understand how a contract works. Chelsea have the upper hand now legally speaking.
