Good afternoon all experience poultry farmers, I'm intended to rear birds of 4-weeks old in order to make them fully manure before Christmas period, but I don't have the experience before and people have been saying it's hotcake investment. I have already had a seller who wants to sell 4-weeks old birds to me in large quantity. My question is, what type of feeds is recommended for them? I learnt that then feeds are many like STARTER, GROWER, ETC, even if there is one I didn't mention. Your prompt response is highly welcomed. |

I also want to get 4 weeks broilers...how much did u get them  ..I don't know much thou...hopefully people who know the business can help out. |

kayteajay111:Since you are gonna be keeping them till December, give them "grower" feed from 4 weeks till 6 weeks, and then give them finisher feed from 6 weeks till December. |

Pls put them on starter for another 2 weeks. Broilers have no business with commercial grower feed as it's formulated for layers. Switch to a restricted finisher ration after 2 weeks. Customers want weighty birds! kayteajay111: |
