this one is even assasination attempt. All successful assination criminals are still there in jail or ran out of police cell even when they were caugt if the act. my brother the guy called lukman is close to my house in ihima OK.the guy issue is not in anyway connect to dino he has been declare wanted since 2006 because of his lifestyle .

I don't know the op but I can reliably say that this is a different version to what we know and saw with our own eyes.
Firstly yes he was killed and his body burnt right in front the ihima square.
Secondly it's true that for sometime now he has been hiding at the government house in lokoja cos he is yahaya bello right hand executioner.
But where you fail is the reason for the manhunt that resulted to his death.
His father use to be the next in line for the ogbobanyi of ihima, something like obobaku. But in this case they dont die with the traditional euler but instead prepare the next ruler and hand the staff of office to him which if stories are to be believed, require human sacrifice, someone who knew much about the tradition and has serves in the palace, when the last ruler died, lukman, father did all the preperation but the might be was to hand over the staff, he suddenly disappeared and the following day they went ahead with the initiation and that's the last they heard of the Oldman till date. Since early 2016 this fight been on and lukman has done lots of harms to the extend he became a threat to the governor cos the people he is fight against are the spiritual fathers the governor worship. In fact the deity to which yahaya is a regular visitor to is in the custody of the ogbobayin. This cause lots of issues between the traditional rukers and the governor. He has to make a choice, either lose his assassin or lose their support. Which yahaya cant choose lukman cos in that government house there are more dreaded assisins that lukman bit he knows the territories more and more loyal that others envy him.

Lastly, no other person was killed. After the squad that took him out left, his boys went on rampage and burn the traditional rulers palace and left the shrine, They burn the commisioner's house cos of the perceived betrayal they felt from the governor cos before he died, that same day was when he returned from the government house and claim the governor wants to kill him that he rather die in his hometown than die elsewhere, cos he had information from a source that a squad from Abuja is close, less than 3hours was when he died, its an open secret for people that hang around them and they were prepared waiting for the squad as well but unfortunately he was the only one that died. The commisioner they burnt his house is very close to the governor aswel. police try to chase them away but they overpowered them and chase police down to adavi and came back to burn the police station and some cars. But everything went back to normal when soldiers came.
