Please I am in need to an idea(s) that will largely benefit an existing transport company.

I have thought of building their non-existing website and social media presence, but I would appreciate to start something more traditional, something like a physical product.

What about GPS tracking of all their vehicles?

Please I need more ideas... help me.

Wouldn't building their website and social media presence be a better overall option?

A business (particularly based in Nigeria) usually has one main goal, to increase profit! This can be done by either increasing revenue through sales or reducing fixed/operating costs. Now ask yourself this, how does GPS tracking solve the mentioned? To me it is not immediately obvious although I can see some operational benefits. Once you can answer this question, you can move forward.

It's one of the popular transport company based in Lagos but I can't mention it here.

I think tracker can help him manage his fleet in real time on a screen from the comfort of his home. He can also manage the speed of his drivers

(are they looking to expnd), competitors (from the info you have given I would expect the level of competition to be high). Are other competitors already using GPS? If so has that increased their market share? My opinion is that in Nigeria customer service is considerably lacking. For example, simple twitter page that responds to enquirers would be of huge value to me as a customer personally, but again you are in the best position to know what this transport company needs.

Thanks. I think I will go with both, one after the other will do. May be we start with the web/social media presence before proceeding to tracking. The only company I perceive to be ahead of the curve in implementation of modern day tech and strategy is God Is Good Motors aka GIGM.

You know, I got even more dose of ideas off here. That is why I laugh at that brother up there saying one has to pay him...I can bet what I got from another website is way superior and advanced that his... Well, let's see how it goes. I am patiently waiting for a client to pay for contract I initiated about 3 months ago. Once that is accomplished, I will get a second client to see first clients product that we delivered as proof... and then, hit the road for my uncle's company. Next year is really going to be more explosive.
