Knowing he is the actor and cannot die is enough for me plus he is a good role model, You know?

It was really interesting watching Ulquiorra shîi-stomp Ilchigo though. grin

How goes it?
No doubt, it's mighty nice watching Ichigo get beaten and tossed around like a used whore_.

I wouldn't say Ichigo is a good role model, nope. Naruto is a better role model. Even though both of them have shown their killer instinct when it has to do with protecting their love ones.

No, I doubt they had considered that option. People will never be fully satisfied, that's human nature, but my model is exactly how pageants are run, so complainants will not have a solid leg to stand on. After all, NLers will still be involved
That is how pageants are run physically and not online.

And even at that majority of those pageantries still go through some voting processes probably on social media or their blogs before they get the final candidates that the judges will work on. And the popular ones still get the votes where they have a chance to compete.

The people/viewers have to feel involved in a certain type of way. So in my opinion voting still remains credible until another method more effective comes up.

It is better for a candidate to win by popularity as you tag it than for a candidate to win by the judge's perception which could be tagged as bias.

forget that she acts like her head is an asylum, oni-la is someone who has an eye for beauty. Her threads on beauty of African women was one of the most popular back then and it still has one of the majority pages on Romance Section

On-ila knows her onions in beauty, even so, there will be seven judges for a reason
Be that as it may, but tell me, what's a woman without brains?

I'm sure you of all people appreciate a girl who has brains more than beauty. So why bring it all down to beauty? grin

i am complaining of the process and nobody from the serious side will ever contest because the process is flawed.

When something is flawed from the process, people will complain until it is made free and fair. You do not have the right to tell people not to complain.

If you want to sit by and do nothing, it's your business, after all, it is a common Nigerian habit to sit by and watch nonsense, but don't tell others how to react. That is not your right, if you don't like what I am saying, you can also walk away and wait for someone to tag you to vote any dull, funny-looking soul.

I have nothing nice to say to you. but dont ever call anyone bold enough to contest a "dull, funny-looking soul". If you are not bold enough to contest and you feel someone contesting is "dull" and "funny-looking", Swallow your tongue instead of shaming anybody.

Just always learn to have a positive and optimistic view towards things.

The people you're criticizing are actually doing their best to see that it doesn't fall short of standard and instead of encouragements and suggestions what we are seeing is tongue lashing and throwing of rocks.

Sorry o. Am not interested, since wen it's a crime? (speaking up in ur dictionary translate to rebel)

didn't bring it all down. It's a beauty contest first and all judges will not have equal knowledge, hence, some will look at beauty and others brains...if O-nila is good at beauty, someone else will go for brains...

It is the points of all seven judges that will determine the winner after all, not one person

I think I agree following the mode via which pageants are organised just like you stated. I hope the organisers give it a shot, aint no harm in a trial.

It's her right to complain, especially when I and you know the contestant with supporters with more alternate monikers usually win.

Beside, if this contest is to remain real and straight forward, voting shouldn't be used to determine the winner.

it's her right to complain but she should stop making insultive statements towards those who want to contest because of their looks.

Safarigirl is 100% right...last year's miss nairaland thingy was greatly flawed.. and as far as i am concern, 2016 contest was between ivyyy, mimmzzy and reffiner....In a normal and unbias contest, these three ladies would have been the main contestants... lanicky won, not because she was beautiful, not because she was intelligent, but she won because the awoon werey crew supported her and ladies like aminat508 voted 4 her because she was a yoruba lady.....In the wake of things and even if people closed their eyes to the truth, she will not defeat mimzy, ivy and refiner in a normal contest, she wont even come close... lets be realistic, can she stand mimzyyy or ivy when it comes to beauty and intelligence.? definetly no, so what are we even saying here? safarigirl is right...the organizers needs to let it be a miss nairaland thing and not a miss i too know people thing.

you are not an organiser. I have gotten my point across to those who I need to.

Maybe if I had swallowed my tongue, I wouldn't have gotten across my message, beauty contests are stupid. Why will I waste my time contesting for such? undecided

Have a nice day

[b]Yes! The introduction of judges is a good development but have you for once thought of the down side of it?

Would you be here to defend the judges when aggrieved parties whom their contestant may have lost the contest begin to cast aspersions and accuse the judges of bias?

When the judges of a contest are attacked for bias the credibility of the whole contest is flawed.

Now tell me, which do you think is better to deal with. That contestants are accused of being too popular to contest or that the judges are accused of being biased?

You're and old member here and you know how shït gets uncontrollable here on NL when it hits the fan.

So if you think they have not considered that option reason again. And I'm sure you were ignored by Dygeasy probably because you never put your opinions the right way. Why should you be taken seriously when you come openly and attack in the name of stating opinions.

You don't call people out just because you feel you can state what you feel without considering their own thought process and how they'll take your opinions.

It's not all about throwing criticisms left right and center and think because you said something then you're definitely right.

You could be wrong too!
