Please how many years of work experience is this. I have been self employed since then but getting reference letter is like a long thing so I want to move the work history to personal history. Using the parcel tracking number you got from the embassy, you could call VFS to enquire. But the time gap between Thursday that it is being sent and Friday that you are expecting it is pretty close, you might have to reschedule your flight.

Thanks, I later got a call from the Embassy that it was dispatched to vfs on August 31 but vfs is yet to inform me of their receipt! I guess I'll have to proceed to vfs tomorrow morning.

Rescheduling isn't an option for me as its a training and my flight was booked by the organisers not me.

That's for the two fees per adult.

Application processing fee is $550 while Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is $490. Got that?

BF, that's total of 6yrs of work experience (2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, 2012-13 & 2013-14).

Is the company no longer in existence? Perhaps you can relate with someone (insider-possibly any close pal in HR) to assist exceptionally for the reference. If it then proved difficult to crack, you may have to move it to personal history.

We cannot afford to let CRS shrink abeg below the threshold limit. Da kun

Very tricky. You have three options:

1. This is not a very honest option, but I'll say it anyways for the sake of the Canada dream. Try get in touch with someone in your school and convince the person to help "adjust" your age on the transcript before sending it out for evaluation. You may have to offer a very good bargain in order to achieve this. There must be at least one official in there who can help with this. This is your best option.

2. In case the above does not work, wait for WES to conclude its evaluation. Then send WES a DoB certificate with your new age and impress upon them that your school made a mistake which they are not willing to correct. Affirm that this is your new DoB and you would like it corrected on your ECA. It may not work though. This is your other option.

3. In case it doesn't work, your final option is to submit your application like that. Then include a LOE explaining the discrepancy in your DoB and stating which of the DoB is valid. Back this up with an affidavit and your DoB certificate. Back it up with other documents that may confirm your story. And then cross your fingers. This is your final option.

It's my personal opinion that CIC is more likely interested in the DoB on your international passport, cos that's where they pull your biodata. I don't think they'll necessarily obsess with the DoB on your ECA. Not sure about this though. I may be wrong.

thanks for your suggestions, i just called and the first option is out of it... secondly i'm thinking of trying to correct the passport to the normal age, it as actually from the passport office but then i had a week deadline to submit my passport or else my trip will be cancelled i had no option than to use the passport with that age... well my second option has just been ruled out.. that will cost me about 200k to fix.. lol.. see whala... i guess i will go with your last option then i will stick to one date of birth...

Apologies. CIC does not specify the number. This is what they say "if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details".

To be on the safe side, at least 2. Invoices may actually suffice for this purpose.

You can type directly into the form. If its not accepting editing, try these steps;
1. Download and save the file, then open.
Still not working!
2. Update your Adobe Acrobat reader to a newer version. You should be fine.

Additional information, spaces are not enough?

-Highlight the section required and paste in Excel to get
right formatting, then fill as necessary.
Sign the additional sheet as well.

I'm not too sure. Although I read somewhere that once you get ITA your CRS score is locked and cannot be affected but I also read elsewhere that it's at the discretion of the agent/officer in charge of your file to either let your score remain the unaffected irrespective of your birthday whether you are post ITA or post AOR. Anyways, I do not plan to 'wait and see'. I have my documents ready. Just for me to go for my police clearance and medicals which I believe can be achieved in one-two days. Hopefully by God's grace I get ITA in 2wks (20th) and before my birthday on the 27th I will submit my application. Make una join me pray oooo.

Once you get ITA, Your scores will not be affected, not even by age increment.

How about you, can you also get work reference letter in cic format from your work place ie the clinic?
You have to start weighing in all the possible avenues so as to know who amongst both of you will be the PA so as to channel energy and resources in that direction.

thanks, his work in us is not related to his course at all, he is barely up to a year in experience in USA job, I will talk to the clinic to see if I can get a ref letter in CIC format.
and we will both prepare for the exam.
