Its not all new phones.
For all the goodness of Camon CX, which I use currently, the battery was a disappointment when I newly got it. Now that its getting old, the performance is far better.

sometimes it has to do with the apps installed in the phone. Most of those pre installed apps are useless and drains battery by the time u uninstall them the battery life improves

I believe you are right because I noticed significant improvement in the battery when the phone automatically freezed those useless apps and I had uninstalled some.

Learnt that the phone has a battery saving feature. Doesn't drain anyhow.

I learnt that the HD screen actually saps more battery than other device... and it makes even good batteries to look like a wak one!

this is so true, the battery of my CX is way better than when i first got it.

i don't think HD screen Zaps more when you compare it with other displays. what would u say about FHD and QHD displays then?

Thing is I use both simultaneously and the battery of the Spark is not bad compared to the Infinix. Kind of surprised with the phone really.

I beg to disagree. Depends on the phones. Tecno combined huge battery and dope camera in the L9 Plus tho.
