The OLAM farms has a storage facility of 50,000 metric tonnes estimated to sell 72,000,000 eggs and 52,600,000 day old chicks.

Naija Newspapers gathered that the $150million project will employ 8,000 Nigerians through direct and indirect labor and 200 veterinary doctors.

Why commission something that's half completed

Many may not know that the OLAM group started as a commodity export business in Nigeria, before moving their HQ to London, then later Singapore. It was a small effort to generate scarce forex during the IBB regime, but has now grown into having operations in over 20 countries globally.
In Nigeria, their HQ is in Abebe Village,Iganmu.
Unfortunately, only the few Indian expatriates are enjoying, with accommodations in Banana Island, Victoria Island and Ikoyi while majority Nigerian workers are paid peanuts and treated shabbily..

But we should blame the many money bags and stealing politicians who instead of investing in the real sector of the nation's economy, prefer to hide their money in septic tanks, foreign bank accounts or using it to build mansions that they will need to steal more money to maintain
