Pls ppl quick question., were the logically reasoning questions really similar to the practise questions (talentq question) or the other way round. In summary, would really appreciate if anyone could help with what to expect for the test. Thank you

Hello, please what should I expect for the numerics in the main test.. Because my performance in the trial is way below average. Thanks

Dashenka:
It was not funny at all, the balance of speed and accuracy have to be maintained. But what really helped me was actually understanding the questions. It's basic maths but the questions must be understood,
Don't let the time count distract you
Please, can you share one or two questions we are likely to come across for the numerics or is it the exact questions in the trial?

To me, the trials was more difficult, however the numericals too isn't exactly easier. They are simply basic mathematics.

E.g I had a question that looked like this

Apple box width 100cms height 500cms box 200cms, find m^3. You convert to meters and multiply
5*2*1 = 10m^3

Then they said a warehouse is 70m 50m 30m

How many unit of apple box will the warehouse contain 70*50*30 divided by 10m^3.

This wasn't the exact way it was asked, but you catch the drift.

Also, there was the bus station question where you are to calculate how many Minutes it'll take you from one location to another. That question had loads of irrelevant data's, but beyond that it's quite straightforward.

Just be really calm, look beyond the too many data's they include to make it look complex and you'll be fine. I had 25th percentile in the practice, but after seeing the patterns of their questions, i was in the 80th percentile in the main test. You can do it bro.

Dashenka have you done the video interview?
Re: Standard Chartered Bank International Graduate Programme 2018 by cymbee: 9:57pm On Sep 16, 2017
So did my logically reasoning test yesterday. It was more than successful. Tips for the test

1) the arrows (--》,《--): if they look too confusing without a pattern, try the clockwise and anti clockwise movement . Note: ensure the arrows you are comparing are parallel to each other I.e compare first arrow in cell1 to first arrow in cell two.

2) the dark shaded arrows: it is either moving, opposite in direction, or try comparing the diagonal cells.
I really hope these tips will be useful to those still preparing to do the test.

Now please really need tips for the numerical aspects. Hbeg please help a sister out

Yes I have, practice behavioral questions like tell us about a time you led a group project, tell us about a time you failed and what did you learn from it etc
