Human right lawyer and Activist, Femi Falana (SAN) has condemned the deployment of the Nigeria military to the residence of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, is illegal.

Falana in statement on Wednesday has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw the troops back to their barrack, saying that there is no legal basis for the involvement of soldiers in the place.

He said the Commissioner of Police in Abia State should be allowed to take over Kanu’s case in line with the provisions of the Constitution and the Police Act.
