One point has now been proven that State Governors are not the Chief security Officers of their States, if a Gov can hold talks with the Army leadership in Abia to start withdrawing from the streets, then another instruction comes from Abuja for the soldiers to remain and occupy the streets. This is part of the reasons many have demanded for State Police. The killings in Abia is totally avoidable. A good part is also that no Northerner was killed contrary to fake news that was spread around. Its also unfortunate watching our Army doing what is supposed to be Police job on the streets which doesn't happen in civilized climes and disrespect shown to South East Governors and elders who have intervened on the issue of Nnamdi Kanu and his group. ![]() |

I am not Igbo, but I seriously condemn this act. The Kanu of a guy has been there since the last administration but was ignored. Why will Buhari encourage the killing of innocent civilians, not fare at all and I can never support evil. It can be anybody tomorrow |

Biafra has 6 letters.Nigeria has 7 letters,Nigerian civil war was 1967. Buhari has 6 letters and Ojukwu also has 6 letters. Obama has 6 letters. Nigeria has 36 states. There are 3 markets around my area. We have 2 eateries close to my house. By the time you realize that this post has no meaning, it's already too late for you, and you can't do me anything.I just wasted your time, I'm not even at home so you won't even see me to beat me.! |

God is watching. There is one thing I know of the Almighty God. He acts at the right time. It is certain that our leaders may not have solutions to some problems. Some may, but because of obvious sentimentS, they refuse to. GOD IS THE JUDGE COS HE DECIDES ON WHO WINS AND WHO LOOSES AT THE END OF THE DAY |

TINALETC3:so it was Kanu that has been marching on the streets and get shot/beaten?yes KANU is a small boy, runaway coward.why can't he face army and dare them to shoot or call them halusa or yoloba the way he has been speaking on radios...Fact is this guy have seen the same opportunity that ojukwu saw in the past, ojuwku wanted to be president so bad but he's a coward he can't arrange small coup like babagida and the rest hence he turned to his ppl and got them killed...Kanu following the same thread I hope the third person won't come when Kanu is gone like okujwu |

We all knew it will come to this. When goat begin draw the tail of lion wey dey sleep, if the lion wake up, e no go easy. The meeting that SE govs and Ekweremadu are holding now ought to have been held long before now. No be when water don pass garri them dey run go hold meeting.[quote author=ahmedkoded95 :- [post=60490116]Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has finally reacted to the clash between the Nigerian Army and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in Abia State.Atiku, who enjoys the Turakin Adamawa title, said dialogue remained the best option for the looming war in eastern part of the country. Report had it last night that a combined team of the Nigerian Army, the Police and the DSS had invaded the home of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), abducting his parents and siblings. Reacting to the clash, Atiku called on governors from the south and the north to reach a truce on the nagging crisis. He said, “I join my party, the APC to call for restraint from all sides in the aggression happening in Abia State. “We hear each other better if we speak peacefully. Everyone, please stop escalating the situation. Let us dialogue and listen to each other. “I appreciate our governors both North and South, for their efforts to maintain calm. Meeting with stakeholders is important and should continue.” Meanwhile, the Biafra National Guard (BNG) has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari for sending Nigerian Army troops to south-east. The group said the military occupation was to carry out massacre and urged Igbos by all means necessary defend themselves against soldiers deployed to the region. The blunder making the rounds is to confuse Kanu's agitation with the lawful agitation for justice and human rights. Kanu spreads hate speech. He urges his supporters to kill anyone who opposes his cause. He insults and disparages the Hausas, the Fulanis, the Yorubas, and every other non-Igbo tribes in Nigeria. He seeks to take by force lands whose inhabitants have never sought to be a part of Biafra. Kanu threatens his own kinsmen and elders of Ndigbo who oppose him. He has raised an army and has basically declared war on the Nigerian state. Kanu has gone to different parts of the world to solicit for arms and funds, to enable him make war with the Nigerian state. Kanu is not a human right activist. He is not a seeker of justice. He is not a freedom fighter. He is a hater of anyone who is not Igbo. He is an adversary of Nigeria who seeks to divide the country and bring the hardworking people of Southeast under his lordship. Atiku is a leader. Talks like a leader. Behaves like a leader. Carries himself like a leader. Has the pedigree and background of a leader. He is conciliatory, wise, balanced, and dignified in his approach to thorny issues. The heavy cap of leadership fits him better than the odious Fulani idiot currently wearing borrowed robes in Aso Rock. I hope Nigerians would do the needful when the time comes to install a leader in 2019. |
